Hey there everybody,

I'm trying to burn My Sassy Girl onto a DVD-R so that it can play on any regular DVD player. I'm new to the process of DVD burning.

These are all of the files I have of My Sassy Girl, but I'm not sure how to proceed.

1. The subtitles I want are formatted weird; there are 5 parts to the movie, but there are only two parts to the subtitles. Sometimes when I play the movie in BSPlayer and pick a time to start at, i.e. 4 minutes, the subtitles are not in synchronized with the movie, either. How do I split the movie into two parts, split the subtitles, and sync them to the movie? Is there a way for me to mesh the subtitles so that they are PART of the movie, or is there an easier way?

2. How do I burn these onto a regular DVD-R so that they will play on any regular DVD player, ensuring that the subtitles will work properly and automatically play? (I think I need to split them up into two DVDs, because they're 4.6 GB large and I assume a blank DVD will need more space than that.)

3. Is there a certain order the files have to be in, in order for them to work on a DVD?

4. What is the last file in the subtitles section (My.Sassy.Girl.DC.2001.DVDRip.XviD.AC3.iNT-CNXP)? Do I need to include this? Actually, do I need to include everything I have listed in the above picture?

5. And.. how do I burn them onto a DVD? Any recommended programs?

A step by step tutorial of what I have to do will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your help!

O any kind of burning DVD would work with this, u open ur DVD burner program, remember to click on copy DVD to DVD and then the source open ur folder and click on ur Video_st folder and it will be ur source. And the destination j choose ur drive burner and burn biggrin.gif And when u burn close all application and ur internet to prevent memory leak. The best time to burn is rite after u turn on ur comp since it has been resting for a while biggrin.gif Good luck

well ur movie files .bup, .ifo, .vob are already dvd files. but the .srt subtitle files aren't in dvd format. cuz normally the subtitles of a movie are joined in the .vob file. so if you want to make a dvd with subtitles from the .srt try dvd-lab pro (its shareware so 30 day trial). u can join those vobs in to one file with dvd-lab n then add the subtitles. not too detailed. but u should figure it out once u dowload the program. um if u decide to use dvd-lab pro i can give step-by-step instructions. but u can also look those up.

Okay, I'll try that program, thanks a lot! smile.gif I hope you don't mind if I ask you questions or a detailed tutorial if I get stuck somewhere along the way.

Thanks for your help too, Onesweetypie!
