i think here is the point, ones concentrate on how hard he felt and how much he must've been hurt while the others focus on how it happened and when will he get well [to continue the shooting and so on]. it affects the way of looking at the problem of each person. too bad, i'm in the first case.

Ballad singer Lee Seung Ki broke his finger during the taping of popular reality show 1 Night 2 Days last Saturday. Despite his injury, Lee Seung Ki was a good sport and completed the taping.

They completed the taping of the show - that's crazy. I hope they don't try to do the same in case of head injury.

I have to say I don't enjoy when they
- eat burning hot food
- sleep outside in the cold
- don't get enough food
- drive in the car without seatbelts (with kids)

I know some of these things make the show fun, but they're dangerous and not good for your health.
The producers need to work harder to come up with ideas which are entertaining and safe at the same time.
This show is being watched by so many people and they're setting an example.

LOL. This kinda made me laugh. It's a fractured finger. It's a minor injury. It's like amputating a hand off if someone broke a wrist. Not gonna happen.

Please lets not speculate all the horrible things.
I'm sure that he'll be able to play piano and guitar again, just like sports players play sports again after they get injured. LSG doesn't strike me as a lazy person who will stop playing because of a minor injury. I think he'll try hard to get his finger working again after it's healed, doing rehab exercises and things like that.

^ Dindunz, yeah I was shocked too. I just want to stay positive. I dunno, I guess thinking about amputation kinda grossed me out (I have problems imagining piercing an ear! I get grossed out easily) And I wanted to point out for those worried he won't play piano or guitar again that he doesn't seem like the type to give up.

If he has to leave the show for the time being I'll respect that and wish him fast recovery, though I will miss seeing him.
If he does decide to stay on the show, then I hope they go easy on him (They better!!! )

Sadly SG had a injury on 25th. [i thought the media said it was on 23rd?]
I heard that news through the internet and that news hits the No 1. search order at that moment.

So I send you a story what I read and heard from the various internet newspaper and broadcast.


SG had a broken his index finger(fracture) on his shooting in 1N2D.
They had a game shaking body or somehing like so tough and all staff think sg's injury was not that much big. And also sg had the same view as well.

But as soon as the shooting ends, he got to feel terrible pain and immediately went to the hospital.

The doctor said sg suffred a fracture of his index finger so his index's finger's bone was broken. That needs taking surgery in Seoul right now. Sg was in Jeju Island at that day because of their shooting, so sg had to go to Seoul by plane quickly.

He had a surgery in the middle of the night on his finger.
I heard that some iron was inserted in that finger. oh my god...
I hope he get beeter soon.
Anyway surgery was well done.

According to the various news (internet paper) ,Until he get normal state, it'll take for about 1-2 months.

All of the Staff in 1N2D is worry about that because sg's portion and popularity is so big thesedays.

But sg's will to join in 1n2d is so strongly and the producer consider input of sg in the program in a row.

I think sg had a great affection to the 1n2d even though he is in the bad condition.

That's not the final decision (because sg's finger condition doesn't follow his will ^^ but I think we'll see his face
as soon as possible.

This is so true. When he interacts with all the cast and crew, he seems like a little brother to all of them. They tease him very gently. Like the tickling. The moments that stick out for me is when all 6 slept together in the room and he slept between MC mong and KHD he was so cute, when Kim C offered to share his sleeping bag even though it was too awkward at the end, when LSG was bouncing on the bunk bed, when Kim C offered a hot water bottle and then MC Mong offered a heat pack, when the crew gave Kim C and LSG food when LSG couldn't sleep and then covering him with a blanket when he finally slept. So many good moments. I must rewatch.

Everyone, good news is coming
She has just sent these to me [much much thanks to her]


In Seoul SG had an operation on 24th in the middle of the night and taking some rest in the hospital and out of that clinic in the early morning on 25th.

He currently wears a (plaster) cast on whole his left hand.

However luckily Su-keun's wedding is on March 2th so 1N2D doesn't shoot that week.
(As you know the shooting always is from Friday to Saturday)

By su-keun's wedding, SG can take a short break time for 2 weeks.

SG shows very strong will get into TV show (1N2D) with no delay though he had a injury.

According the news, he really concerns about the rest of members and staff rather than his condition of body.

Agency said that SG's injury doesn't affect his schedule planned.

Unless something unexpected happens, SG is supposed to join in 1n2d next shooting.

There are some story just like sg's brave and mature behavior at that accident moment even though he had an broken finger and KHD and KIM C's words of comfort to the members. And lastly , mc mong hope he get better soon.
In summary like this.

Very impressive thing of mc mong's talks....
Amazingly SG was shooting with his smiles all the way even though he had a injury in the midst of that game saying like this "I'm so sorry. Because of me... I don't wanna do any harm to all staff or program"
Despite of terrible pain he completed the shooting with no complain and that made all staff think that's not big deal. [man, it means it was not that it didn't hurt while recording as people thought, but he had to stand the pain till the shooting ended]
But after shooting, he needed help with his sharp pain and immediately he went to see a doctor at nearby local hospital in je-ju island.
That's the time right after filling completely ended.
He has professionalism, he is in his young age though...
According this talk, this is all things mc mong knows about sg's situation.

I have searched newspaper but nothing more than specific one.
That's all.
All thing I know about that he had an operation well and he is taking a rest and next week he might visit the Su-keun's wedding if possible (but not decide), and the shooting 1n2d will be go on despite of his injury because he is showing the great affection with this program.

Unless he is wearing the same clothing, which is fine, but I think they all change
clothes when they go to a new location or sometimes even on location.

the thing below is kinda special, it's the latest diary of the PD of 1N2D. my friend has just sent it to me and she told me in fact there are 2 PDs of the show, one man and one woman. She thought this one is woman, because beside the name, just look at the way she wrote. it's like a sentimental essay, and it's really touching...







NOTE:

* Hyung: older man

* Ssi-rum: it's like SUMO in Japan

* Sang-keun: the dog's name

* For the first time Seung Gi put into this program, he was just guest for one time or short time by absence of NO-Hong-Chul'. Since timely he needed program to promote his new song, he pleasantly accepted this appearing in 1n2d. But he didn't know that was trap for him. Right after first shooing, the staff and KHD were crazy about him and give him some pressure to stay here forever.
They have always bound up him not to go another program. So they made him sign contract by force despite of his constant resistance kk... only dealt with one hot-bar (it's like a fish hotdog) poor Seung Gi .....

since you mentioned MC Mong. yes, he really dotes on Seung gi. i remember he once said on his minihp his first impression on seung gi was his smile. he just kept smiling all the time. when mc mong wanted to take photos with him in xman, he came and laughed in front of his camera. then he asked him to act more serious please, he said 'yes, i see' and from the laugh, he turned it into the smile. lolz. isn't he so sweet ^^
and i think mc mong is always a good hyung to seung gi. how touched i feel as he said after this accident of seung gi, he'd try to be a better hyung. so beside kang ho dong, i think mc mong is close to him the most. they're always together.
