hehe actually I dont really like the very rough one..I just love his voice in his second album
already smoother but still has his unique huskiness...
still manage this voice till his first remake and his concert..
but when it came to his third..his voice just change that much..
really miss his old one..bcoz he just become unique for that voice...
not just like common ballad singer although he is till unique now...
bcoz he can manage to sing in low and high pitch at the same time and he can put all the emotion neede to all his song....
the hard things to do.... and our boy can do this all at his young age..really proud of you!!

actually I know him from Xman, but the one that made me consider that this boy is great is when I hear he sang at that show..that thing made me run like crazy to get all his things... he is just a talented one and I just recognize him 2 years after his debut..such a long time..hope there will be more people that can get into him...

EDIT : I think the man that kissed the girl was seung gi, you can look it from his chubby cheek...I hate that scene...why he always to kiss a girl at each of his MV.. wanna see the making of this scene..was he really kissed her or just make it looks like that..huuuhhhh so jealous

comments on his new mv: i like it although it's different than his usual mvs. i do miss seeing this acting skills but i like the screen shots. his hair is longer and looks good in the shots. for some reason even though there was not "acting" going on i think the mv in shots protrayed just as much emotion as if it were like his other mvs. as others said: good job LSG. and i also see him growing as an artist.

oya already hear his song....mmmm but I think his voice just so so....I am a big fan from him..dont get me wrong..but I think the original version is much better than him, although he can make the song just like seung gi's version....

Initially I had the same impression as you. It was not his best vocal. But listening to it a second time, I think he intended to give it a different spin. The song is meant to be a confession; a resigned one in fact. It's not a love declaration. If it was, the voice would have been stronger, with more conviction. To me, it feels like it's a man confessing, at the end of all ordeals, how he had given it all to the woman he loved. That he had risked and lost all for love. And he is tired. No? That's my take.

Yup, I miss his old voice too. But isn't this rendition sung in a similar tone as his later versions of "Hope and Desire"? Very subdued and fragile.

EDIT: Oh, one more thing. Seung Gi, if you're reading this: can you please manage somehow in your next MV not to get beaten up, tortured or killed? Can we at least have one with a happy ending? And you not looking like some guys' punching bag. Please? Pretty please?

When actually it was either garlic or spring onions. KHD then mentioned about Seoulite (city kid) not knowing anything . . Probably, its due to not having sufficient sleep and his mind is a blur. He might have also innocently spoken first without thinking, that's why it seems he is more "airheaded" than he really is. Considering his scholastic records.

I just found this one..I rewatch again his old 1N2D and discover this one..Seung Gi got this nickname from Kim C, they give him this nickname when they played kicking shuttle kock in the episode when Seung Gi wore yellow sweater (this is really fit for him )..and actually the spell is HO DANG not HER DANG...

He has very good hand writing. Much better than mine . Thanks for the explanation of his nickname. He's so spacey on that show ... I think it's because he has not have a lot of life experience (always working and studying). I'm glad he stayed on 1N2D (though not sure for how long given his schedule) cause it allows him to be the carefree twenty something year old that he is meant to be. It's sad that the Korean entertainment system often makes these young performers sacrifice a lot of their early years for their careers. At least Seung Gi is able to do things that he missed out when he was not able to do them with his peers.

Even though i can't understand them, I can still see how much work goes into making an album/MV. Crazy work schedule. It's not really as glamorous as i thought. ^^^^ Just listened to his new album. Hmm, what happened? Where's the raw emotion that I fell in love with? The powerhouse vocal? The album is still good, but not quite on par with his Love - First Concert. For a long time, that live album was always on loop in my iPod. IMHO, the concert really was him at his best. I still love his voice though. I'm just not in awe with this new higher pitch and slightly (IMO) frailer voice. Ah,"Only One Love" truly is not the same.... That said, I still think that he's one of the sweetest guys around. Love his personality.

I was expecting a lot from track 3: Foolish Love because I liked the original so much. The remake is still cool and I still like it, although I feel the original has more power to it. I really commend SeungGi for making the song his own. It really sounds different than the original.

Well, I'm still testing out the album now ~ So far it is good. As for the LOVE: The 1st Concert, that is my favorite album from him ^^.

I like both voices. I am glad, however, he does not have the husky voice from his 1st album. Before I even knew who Lee Seung Gi was, I liked 'Smile Boy".
