Hello all I'm back from a SUPER weekend!!! Just want to say I had a faaaabulous time at the HB and I know this is isn't related to Seung Gi, but I'm going to say it anyways (since we like to share our thoughts around here), Minwoo is INCREDIBLE! Hee hee, paying just to see him for not even 15 minutes was money well paid. Sorry I don't have any pics to share cause stupid me didn't think to bring a charger. I figured if you've got a camera with enough memory that would do right? I literally was slapping myself. M even took his shirt off... ah well.. Definitely going back next year and I'm going to get pool seats this time and risk injury by fangirls
Ok back to Seung Gi. Gosh. So much has been said in the last few days. Where to begin.
Eequeezee thanks so much once again for your weekly synopsis. I'm loving this group of guys more and more with each ep. I used to watch this mainly cause of Seung Gi, but these days I just enoy the comradery between the fellows even without LSG around. MC Mong is such a sweetheart, I just love him to death now. "Please send Seung Gi over to us" ha ha. LSG really owes so much of his popularity to these guys. Even when he's not in the scene they make the effort to include him in and what they say usually improves his image and makes him look good. Really looking out for their magnae aren't they? Honestly, I think Seung Gi wouldn't come off as interesting a character if these guys weren't there to help him out a bit. The spotlight they create for him is pretty big, especially Ho Dong. Have you guys ever noticed Seung Gi usually stands in the middle next to Ho Dong or right in the thick of things no matter what's going on. It's either placement by production or Seung Gi has a nack for finding a good position to make sure he's included =) Oh and today's ep with the special unseen cut was so funny! Couldn't believe he was so excited over the game, he was spazzing all over the place! So good to see his inner child like that. hee hee. Hoping they do more cuts like these with each ep. I bet there's a ton of great unseen phootage. Now That's the GOOD stuff.
Bedifferent, thanks so much for the mag pics and video link. You know what I think about his fashion lately too, but oddly enough I was actually ok with "the shirt" everyone's mentioning. The reason I dislike the scarf so much becuase I feel like it's way too old looking and out of place to be on a 21 year old, but to me the off kilter look of "the shirt" is somehow modern and daring. It's something I'd never think Seung Gi would wear, but at least it's not a throw back to the 70's. But I do have to agree with you on the short spiky do thing. When I first saw his comeback for the 3rd album I was taken aback by how different and older Seung Gi looked with short hair, not to mention he looks soooo much taller with short hair.
o15029, this would be time he looked best in suits, do you agree? The difference between then and now is amazing. The short made him look sophisticated, clean cut, handsome, and about 5 years older, like the pics in the Esquire mag. With the longer hair he looks more his age and "cuter". I like both looks. My preference would be to keep his hair about the length at the end of his 3rd jib promos. Short enough to look fresh, but slight bangs to look young and fun =)
I saw the video to "Let's go on vacation" too and it was so fun to see those "best of LSG" moments. Theee definition of adorkable, no? He's so high energy when he sings this song so I can't wait for more performances. It's good to hear Seung Gi rock again. As for my feelings on the 2nd remake, in general I agree it doesn't feel as complete as the first one, but overall I still think it's a good album. The song choices in the first were excellent and as
Sarangaia said, they're the kind that are catchy and likable the first time you listen to them. The 2nd album had a couple more difficult songs and those were the ones I appreciated more. I admit he does sound different these days compared to before. He use to sound very bold and rich before to me, but for some reason he doesn't give me that same feel anymore. I still think he sounds great and his range is amazing, but for probably more reasons than one his voice has changed. He sounds thinner to me too. Which is another reason why I was so thrilled to see him perform Let's go on Vacation. I need to hear him yell and belt it out again. I know it's in there Seung Gi, don't be afraid to show it. =)
(Oh and a side note here,
bedifferent, are you really going to pharmacy school? If you are that's great cause I'm a pharmacist

)
Alright, this post has been long enough. Hope you all had a good Monday!
