I have a problem with the spot where you put batteries in; I don't really know what's wrong. I know the batteries I'm using is perfectly fine (used it in other devices; perfectly charged rechargeable batteries; used it in the digi before and it worked fine) but now, the camera never starts up and it has to do with the battery compartment I think. Or is it something else? It doesn't turn on or anything. Can someone help me or suggest possible problems with it? Thanks.

have you tried using regular disposable batteries in it too? if they don't work either then you can rule out batteries as the problem
