I got accepted into a school that I'm most
likely going to - so I started filling the basicfo rms out,
such as the health, financial aid, and all that stuff ...
then came residential housing.
I know my chances of getting a good roomate are
50/50, but I guess it just sparked my interest:
The question asked (and you can only pick one),
What do you look for in a good roomate?
A ) A good friend
B ) A respectable person to share space with
C ) Someone who doesn't bother you or get in the way of your academics.

B.. it'd be pretty annoying if the person went through my stuff or trashed the place or something. you can always find A somewhere else and it'd be kinda awkward living with a C person and you dont really interact with each other.

B.
with A-sometimes staying with a friend could cause tension and could ruin a relationship because you don't know the other person's habits. and with C-you really don't get to socialize with your roommate. there's a difference between privacy and total isolation.

Before all else, I'd definitely want my roommate to be a respectable person that I can coexist with. It wouldn't matter as much if the roommate didn't become my [good] friend, because I could always make friends with people near my dorm room or from classes. Considering the fact that I have to live with this person for the next 8ish months, I'd rather be a loner than live with a friend who has horrible habits
