xO So many replies since I last came here. I'll read through them another time. xD

Wow. w00t.gif I absolutely love those pics. xD

I'm confused. -___-;; I'd always thought that Aoi's real name is Joyama Suguru, but AntiPOP says that it's Shiroyama Yuu. x__x

HI ANNA! i love that name... i wish my name wasn't so hard to pronounce...

lol, i got so mad today because a guy kept on bugging me on how i'm asian and how they're smart and have a weird language and critisizing on their songs (i brought diru in my music class). so i said, "f*** the language barrier and listen to some ASIAN MUSIC!"

I think that's because the kanji character in the beginning can be pronounced in two different ways.
Most kanji characters have more than one form of pronounciation.

That's the first time i heard someone say that about my name.. haha thanks!

And those guys are ignorant. It's all about the music not the language. My friends were really iffy on JRock too. I gave them Reila and Cassis and they love it! Although it's not really like most of Gazette's songs i'm happy knowing that they can enjoy some of this bands music!

Hi! ^-^

I know how that feels, I used to get criticized a lot by my friends asians and non asians about how much I listen to Asian music. >_> I got a bit pissed off so I sent them some 'asian' songs and they got hooked ^-^. I even got some of my friends to go on soompi because of what I did. Lol, I'm such a weirdo.

Hello all the new people! (gosh, so many, =P) You can all call me Britt! ^^
Gah, people are so closed minded. They think that only music sung in English is the only good kind of music and the only music that there should be. Most people, if they listened to Asian music, or any other kind, probably won't admit it for fear of being different and looked down on. I get made fun of all the time for listening to jrock and other sorts of music, so I know how it is too. We should all just ignore those people and stick together! Us Gazette (and other asian music) lovin' freaks! w00t.gif

But I'll admit, I've gotten some friends to say that jrock is pretty good, so not everyone is closed-minded like alot of people I know. ^^

^ for real. the only thing keeping my friend who is caucasin from liking some jrock is the fact that she doesn't want to be made fun of for liking bands whose members look more on the pretty side than masculine side. my guyfriends are like "why do you asian people love girly men so much?" they aren't as girly as you think. its not that we like pretty men, its that we like their style and music.
Now it's time.

^ It's all good. There are alot of JRock fans out there so it's not like we're alone.
I really like the music and style and I don't care what other people think.

I also got one of my guy friends to promise me that if Gazette ever came to town, he would go to the concert with me!! biggrin.gif
I mostly need him for a ride cuz I hate driving kekekee i'm so evil.

He swears that Ruki is a girl. But what i'm confused about is that out of ALL the Gazette members, he would think RUKI is a girl... I would say Uruha or Aoi would be most likely confused as girls tongue.gif

And jungie i like pretty boys laugh.gif

^I like pretty boys, too. Lol, I had once posted pics of Kirito on my xanga, and half of my friends that went there thought he was a girl. But yeah, I think Uruha and Aoi would be more likely to be mistakened as girls.

Hi Jeong!

Yup I like JRockers for their music but them being pretty is a plus!

My ex boyfriends were all really girly. My friends called them pretty boys and metro kekeke. But I thought they were so cute blush.gif

^ AHHH! I tried also! I went to Book Off, Kinokuniya, and Asahiya! None of them had it!
They did have more "popular" artists like L'arc, Diru, Miyavi, and Gackt.
No luck on Gazette CDs though tears.gif

I think i'm just going to order online. The prices at those places were almost the same as ordering online anyways.

I've always liked Jrockers for their music, not their looks (but of course, I like them for that too. I'd be crazy if I didn't) But I don't get into them because of their looks. If I don't think their music is good, then I don't like them... I'll still look at them though. =P And yeah, alot of people make fun of me for liking the "weird Japanese men that look like women." But I've met some guys who would see pictures of Jrockers on my binders and stuff and go "Wow, that chick is hot" and I'd tell them that it was a guy, and they'd just be like "Really? Well, that dude is fudging hot!" XD Those guys are cool, they make me laugh.

What websites? sweatingbullets.gif I've been trying to buy at least ONE japanese CD of those artists but have no such luck; where do you get yours?

Haha Britt! I love guys that like. They ARE really cool. There aren't many guys like that though. Damn men and their sense of "masculinity"

And Despoina try to go to CDJapan.com or YesAsia.com for Japanese and Asian CDs.
Or you can go to J-xyz.com for merchandise AND CDs. I recently ordered a Gazette Nameless Liberty. Six Guns tour shirt from there. I'm waiting for the confirmation ph34r.gif

If you live in NYC and don't want to order online, I recommend Kinokuniya. Though no Gazette, they had a lot of other JRock artists that are popular.

Here is my "Where to buy CDs online post." I think I've posted this in many places already. ^^;
QUOTE

Thirdstage is my recommended place to order from: They accept 2 forms of payment. International Postal Money Order(IMPO), which you buy at the post office, or cash in Yen. The shop is located in Meguro, Japan, so the shipping&handling isn't cheap. But they have an online order form so you don't have to e-mail them to order. ^^ They normally also include flyers with your orders. Their privileges tend to be comment cds, autographs (sometimes they're just printed though), comment papers, and posters.
http://www.mandrakeroot.co.jp/english/

Brand-X is where many foreigners like to order from. It's a Japanese indies shop located in Ikebukuro, Japan. Shipping& handing is similiar to Thirdstage and they only accept International Postal Money Order(IMPO), or cash in Yen. To order from them, you must e-mail the webmaster (in gramatically correct English), webmaster@brand-x-net.com, and have them check the stock. Then you will recieve an e-mail with the total cost and where to send payment to. They have a pretty good privileges (like posters, postcards, etc), but sometimes the privileges are "instore-events," so it's not very good if you don't live in Japan.
http://www.brand-x-net.com/

Guruguru also sends overseas. They state they accept cash in Yen, but you could probably e-mail them and ask if they accept IPMO. They're a shop located in Sapporo, Japan. There are privileges for a small selection of cds.
http://www.guruguru.co.jp

HMV Japan also carries some indies cds. Shipping rates are outrageously expensive. (Okay, it's not that expensive, but it's quite a bit.) But unlike all the indies shops, they accept credit card orders.
http://www.hmv.co.jp

Cdjapan would be your best choice for major cds. Shipping&handling is expensive, but not as expensive as indies shops. They accept credit cards, IMPO, and cash(USD or Yen). If there is a privilege and you ordered in time to get first press, you will get your privilege.
http://www.cdjapan.co.jp

Amazon.co.jp carries quite a large selection of indies cds. Shipping from Japan is expensive as usual. (Not everything is in English though, but it is good enough to get by.) ) They accept credit cards.
http://www.amazon.co.jp

Yesasia carries some visual indies cds. They normally go out of stock really fast, since people seem to like ordering from them. They're known for jacking privileges or charging extra for them.
http://www.yesasia.com

Jpophouse sells some visual cds. Shipping is pretty cheap since they are located in the US.
http://www.jpophouse.com

J-XYZ carries some magazines, cds, and band goods. There are good reviews and bad reviews about them.
http://www.j-xyz.com

Also, depending on what band's cd you want, you can buy the CDs directly from the band. E-mail politely in gramatically correct English (Japanese is best though, but if you don't know it, use English) and ask if they do oversea mail-order. If they ignore you, then obviously they aren't willing to sell to you. ^^; Bands do charge less for shipping (they use normal air mail) and they don't normally have a handling charge. (Some do though, but it's not a lot.) But, many bands now don't do mail-order at all.

ROFL! Haha, I know! Stupid men. =____= lol

Um, for buying cd's online, I'd recommend CDJapan and YesAsia. They've worked out well for me. ^^
I think the next cd I buy will definately be Gazette. I still don't have anything of theirs. =X Darn RES has taken over my life. XDDD I think I'd buy either NIL or... one of the Lesson G.O.D singles.. since they all have Reila on them. XD
