AK GLOBAL TO PRESENT “DYNAMIC KOREA 2005”
AT LOS ANGELES MEMORIAL SPORTS ARENA”
Los Angeles, CA – AK Global will present “Dynamic Korea 2005” and the First Mayor’s Cup
Taekwondo Championship at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena on Saturday, April 30th.
The day-long event, which will feature the finest Korean martial arts practitioners from around the
United States in competition, will also include a Korean fashion show and live performances by a
number of popular Korean pop music artists. The event will take place from 8am to 10pm and is
free to the public.
Some 3000 Taekwondo competitors will be on hand to compete for the Mayor’s Cup
Championship. The martial arts portion of the event will be capped with a demonstration by the
Korean National Taekwondo Team.
Among the cultural events that will be taking place throughout the day are a 2 hour live show
by the Korean National Traditional Art Performance Team. This portion of the program will feature a
variety of Korean music and dance. The cultural events will also include a traditional Korean
Costume and Fashion Show, as well as a live demonstration of the Korean Wedding and Tea
Ceremony.
The day’s festivities will also include a live concert by popular Korean pop music artists
Jin-Young Park, Rain and Noel.
