JYPE Announcement: About The Cloud and Phase 4 Cloud

I am the Cloud Master.

I'm going to inform you on matters regarding the recruitment of Rain's official fan club "The Cloud" and the local recruitment of "Phase 4 Cloud" members.

Previously we had planned to kick off the free membership recruitment of "The Cloud" in September, in conjunction with the release of Rain's 4th Korean album.

However, the following problems have occurred:
1. The special privileges of Phase 4 Clouds is valid until December 2006.
2. The problem of fees/ expenses for the official fanclub items and fan meetings

The first question is about the difference between "The Cloud" and "Phase 4 Cloud", and the solution to privileges of "Phase 4 Cloud" membership. The second question relates to the sales of official Cloud items.

Having read the recent messages left by everybody, I have reconsidered the issues of Phase 4 Clouds privileges and the recruitment period for "The Cloud".

Also, if we do proceed with the selling of official Cloud items, can we use the income solely for fan club expenses? These are the questions I have been considering.

The reason for this what we have mentioned in our previous board message: In the past, no matter what issues we encounter, we will always discuss with each other to work out the best solutions.

Hence, after tidying up your suggestions, we have come up with the following replacement solutions:

1. "The Cloud" will be phase 1 recruitment of Rain's official fan club. JYPE will undertake this recruitment.

2. "The Cloud" will take the form of paid membership. Fees for Korean Clouds: 30,000 won; Fees for overseas Clouds: US$55.

3. The one-year membership will be valid for activities beginning January 2007. Recruitment will take place in September and October 2006. (In other words, privileges for "The Cloud" members will only begin in January 2007)

4. The official Cloud items will be sent out individually in November and December 2006. The member list will also be finalised during this period of time.

5. Members of "The Cloud" will receive official Cloud items from JYPE, and can attend fan-meetings for free (the fan-meetings are estimated to take place in the first half of 2007).

Recruitment will commence on 13th September via JYPE's official website. Details (including an English version) will be released on 11th September.

The following relates to the Korean Phase 4 Clouds.

Korean "Phase 4 Clouds" are not related to "The Cloud". Your privileges are still valid until December this year.

Therefore, you will still get privileged seats during Rain's October showcase. This privilege is extended to you for all of Rain's activities until December 2006.

We hope the fans are not confused. Following this, I shall announce the method of registration for "Phase 4 Clouds" to participate in the showcase.

There are many news on the papers about this showcase today. Now, I shall take this opportunity and clarify on how to join this showcase.

First of all, this Show Case is produced by the production company that is undertaking the World's Concert Tour, Star M

I will announce the details on how to join this Show Case next week, and at the same time, upload the application form on Star M's official website. Going forward, all information on the Concert Tour, including the sales of tickets will be done through Star M's website.

Now, I shall bring following information and method of participation for "Phase 4 Clouds" through JYPE's website:

1. Seating Plan: Stadium seating (First level)

- Seats from the row closest to the stage
- Seats for the rest of the Clouds are still unconfirmed at the moment.
- Star M will announce the detailed seating plan at a later date.
- Seatings for fan clubs will be announced on "The Cloud"'s community.

2. Target Group: Phase-4 Cloud members

3. Application date: 15 Sept 2006 (Friday), 11pm ~ 17 Sept 2006 (Sunday), 11pm

4. How to apply: Through a designated registration page on JYPE's website.

- You can also register through the "Phase 4 Cloud Application" link in Joyplace.
(A separate page is to prevent anti-flooding or lagging of webpages)

- When registering, please write your name and partner's name in the subject line. Write the ID and contact numbers of yourself and your partner in the content column.
(We'll release more details later in the registration page)

5. Seating order: Seating order for Phase 4 Cloud members is according to first-come-first-serve DURING REGISTRATION.

6. Number of people you can register for: You can register for yourself and one partner you'll like to bring.
Your partner must be a Phase 4 Cloud member.
- At best, your partner will be assigned a seat next to yours. In the event that is not possible, we will inform you beforeahand.

7. Ticket-collection and Entry on that day: You can collect your ticket personally on the day itself, after identification.

-Please bring your ID on that day as a proof of identity. After we have confirmed that you are a Phase-4 Cloud member, you will be issued the ticket immediately.

- Simply proceed to your seat on that day after entering the hall.

- If you cannot come within stipulated time, your seat will be cancelled.
(we will release details later on entry to the hall)

In addition, we will release more information on the above at a later date. If you have any questions with regards to the Showcase, please go to the website of the organising company, Star M. For questions in relation to Phase 4 Cloud, please make use of "The Cloud" Community board.

Artist 'Bi' Holds Grand Charity Concert Before His World Tour



Before his world tour starts in December, the artist Bi will hold a concert for about four thousand of his fans.
On October 13, in the Seoul Olympic stadium, the "Rain's Coming" concert will start.
According to a person involved in the Bi's world tour management, "Bi's upcoming Seoul venue will be held with the theme of 'charity.' Instead of the revenue from the concert tickets, the funds will be collected from the spectators donating for charity, and will go towards building a 'Disabled People's Art Center'."
The source also went on to say that "this free concert in Seoul will be the starting point of activities for the public welfare nationwide. Bi's upcoming world tour also plans to go in a direction to help the spread of public welfare."
For the 'Rain's Coming' world tour, for five months, Bi will have 35 concerts in major cities of United States, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, China, and Korea.
In the meantime, concert specialists from all over the world will work as a group, and are planning to make a splendid stage for Bi's concert.
The stage director and choreographer for the world tour is Jamie King. Jamie King has lately directed Madonna's 'Confession Tour,' as well as concerts for Britany Spears, Christina Aguilera, and etc.
For this concert, another person with experience with elite foreign artists such as Britany Spears, Christina Aguilera, and etc, is Dago Gonzales, who was in charge of the stage visual effects. Next, Tom Hudak, who was the tour producer for the American band Eagles, Prince, and famous pop singer Mariah Carey, will participate.
Bi's charity concert is planned to have a promotion until the end of the this month to distribute free tickets in Seoul and many provinces in the country.

i just heard bi's new korean single.. has anyone noticed how much his english seems to have improved heard some rumors that he wants to try to debut in america in 2007.. is this true? im hoping it is, cus i also saw that someone posted omarion's new cd that will feature bi in one of the tracks. this is very exciting news!

Hi abfkelly, US will be part of his World Tour & this is the first country he'll be touring in this December. Yes, I also love his single & gosh how his English there improved. he'll be releasing his Korean album this October 31. Can't wait to hear this, I'm getting excited already.
