Hi Everyone:
I'm excited to be giving you this exclusive information. This is hot off of Rain's management company. Jay and I have worked diligently and put in some long hours to be able to set up a meeting with JYPE. I am using my spring break time (on behalf of Jay and of course RAIN!!!) to travel to Korea so that we can give our members what they really wanted. This will be worth reading so sit back and relax. I will go through the agenda of our meeting and what is being considered by JYPE at this time. Be careful to not jump like crazy for joy because there are a lot of good news. You have been warned! All Rain-USA staff, please read this post carefully and be familiar with its contents as this information needs to be spread in your area.
JYPE has offered their deepest thanks for our support and hard work to help support Rain in the US. They said that we really put in the thought and time into this. All of these issues will be personally reviewed by Rain and supported by the Cloudmaster. Rain-USA will have a professional photographer to be present at US concerts and events.
Rain-USA website
-Registration for membership to Rain-USA would mean that you agree to abide by the terms and regulations for membership. Members' rules and regulations will be posted after the move to the new server.
-The new professional Flash front page got approval from JYPE. This project will be done a couple of weeks after I get back from Korea (March 9th, 2007). We want Rain to have a professionally designed webpage like all US artists.
-Media section will be condensed to include video, sample music files, and photos. We still need copyright clearance from JYPE; we are asking for approval from Rain (he'll reply to us after he gets back from the Vietnam concert).
-We will be moving to a new server. This process will require that EVERYONE re-register to become a member of Rain-USA. We will post the date of the move. Please be wary as once we move, connection to the old sever will be cut and all membership information will be erased. If you do not re-register, you will lose access to valuable updates and information.
-www.myspace.com; we will be creating a myspace page for Rain. This project will be completed after the Flash front page project, within a month from today's date. It will include pictures, videos, and music samples. Copyright clearance being considered by Rain.
Joy Place
-JYPE is currently working to convert the site into English. However, the project has been delayed due to World Tour. Rain-USA is our home, so please use it as much as possible.
MTV
-JYPE will consider adding more music videos like "I'm Coming". When it has been submitted, we will let you know so that everyone can register as a member at MTV.com and vote for his videos. This is where we can really make a difference for him. Please vote diligently. I spoke with fans around the globe at a dinner I went to in Korea, their support in helping us to vote on MTV is overwhelming. They are just as committed as we are. This is one of the better ways to promote Rain in the US.
Albums
-Rain needs us to buy his CDs and DVDs here in the states. This is the only way he will make it onto the Billboards and charts.
THE CLOUD: re-opening registration
-Ok, hold your breath. They are giving this a chance. BUT before we can officially have THE CLOUD open up registration for new members, we need to have membership numbers to back up. The CLOUD is not a normal organization, it consists of die-hard and very active fans and their members are considered to be the closest to Rain. Once we have the numbers to back up, THE CLOUD will open. Therefore, what we need from our dear members is to reply back to this post and shout with your heart that you want to be a part of THE CLOUD. Remember, if the numbers do not meet their expectation, THE CLOUD will not reopen for registration. Our goal is 2000 replies. Now is the time to make a difference and be proactive. Please spread the word to fellow members and fans around your area. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get fans and members alike to make their desire known. The other requirement to enter THE CLOUD is that you must be a Rain-USA member to enter. Therefore, please keep your e-mail addresses current. Please make edits to your profile so that we know which state you are from by writing a short blurp in your profile. One final thing, only Rain-USA members and subsequently THE CLOUD members can go to future fan meets (hint hint). This is an exclusive privilege entitled to Rain-USA members only! Members of Rain-USA will become part of THE CLOUD organization. We will not create a separate organization.
Rain's official fan clubs around the world
-We have opened up communciations with Rain's official fan clubs around the world. This is a good way to efficiently and accurately relay information so that fans will always be up-to-date and the news are hot off the press. We plan to coordinate our efforts for future Rain international events (at a later date of course).
THE FANMEET
-I have brought up the suggestion of having Rain's birthday celebration at his concert. Potentially, it could also be a fanmeet. At this event, Rain-USA will be passing out balloons (red, white, and blue) and we want to make a US flag. Cake will be served and we'll celebrate Rain's birthday together. Along with balloons we will need banners and additional cheering material. JYPE is very excited that we want to schedule a birthday celebration for Rain, we want to be just as crazy as all the other fans around the globe. We need to have Rain feel like he's right at home. We will announce the city that Rain will have his birthday celebration in at a later date. Oh yes, we need to come up with a greeting to shout to Rain when he shows up on stage. Japan has "Jihoon Ni" and HK has "Rain!!!" They are all said in a cute voice to catch Rain's attention and lift his spirit. Anyone has any suggestions as to what we can use?
-Further fanmeets will be scheduled after his official US debut. JYPE wants our committment to be present for such an event when one is scheduled. Traveling to the fanmeet is a must. I am sure everyone want to be present for this special occasion. Give a shout that you promise to show up to the fanmeets. Again, fanmeets are exclusively for Rain-USA members and subsequently THE CLOUD members only.
RAIN'S WORLD TOUR US CITIES DETERMINED FOR JUNE
-hehehe, hold your breath guys.....this is huge news. There will be a total of six US concerts. Yes, SIX CONCERTS (count them SIX!!) total. This is huge!!!!!!!!! Drum roll please....the selected cities are NYC, LA, Atlanta, Hawaii or San Francisco and...........CANANDA (Toronto, Montreal, or Vancouver.....to be determined)!!!!! Hope no more Canadian fans, Rain will fulfill your dream and make it come true by gracing you with his presence with a concert.
RAIN'S UPCOMING US ALBUM
-Rain will start the recording of his new English album after the close of the world tour. That means after June. He's been practicing his English!! He is eager to learn the language.
