btw, concerning about the nearly 8,000 people in Australia concert, I'm still very pleased and won't complain. As compare to US concerts with big promotions and stuffs, the seating for some US concerts (even in LV last year) are just around 3,000 to 5,000 seats ... So I think it is completely OK for the Austra. concert with not much promotions at all and still was be able to pull 8,000 audiences ... So not bad right?
I am totally in love with the hair... he gorges.... absolutely gorges.... Not too short and not too long... I love it..
You read my mind like a book! I do need to slim down, just in case he and i do come face to face
Everyone need to slim down when it comes to "meeting Bi in person"... your weight would never be perfect.. even if you look like
a model.. you would still wanna slim down..... That's the power of Bi... wahahaha.... keep us in shape...
it was really awful coz people were waiting for him for the longest time. we're now wondering if it's even an official party.
the organizer just gave a partial refund...
anyway, good to hear the concert went well. wasn't able to go though this time. hope to attend the next one.
La medd................ long time no see...
I guess it's not his problem. I'm sure the organizer was informed in advance if there's fan meet.
BTW - I wonder how many "official ticket" sold? Out of 8000 ppl how many actually bought the tix?. Even if only half - I'm amazed that he could pull
that much crowd with such a short notice. The crowd in the mosh pit look quite pack.
Jen/Sam - I wish more ppl would just try once (I mean go to his concert)... It is really worth it.. worth every penny...
I wish I have more money and enough time.. It's something cannot be explain really... Even if he only perform like
70% - it's still worth every penny (not that I encourage you (Bi) to do less).
And you know what... Rain/water on the stage has become quite a practice nowadays -
in their concert....
Edward - I hope you would be less strict to us now that we don't have anywhere to go.. we can't post news of his music in the korean drama thread
anymore.. Anything regarding his music has to come here.. I am not too sure about us posting links... is it allowed edward??? Pity us Edward... we have
no where to go.. allow us to post links here... I mean CB link, YSI etc etc...
BTW Pau - The "waiting" is over...2nd April...
Quote Bi - rainy day Taipei - If I cough blood, catch a cold, or keel over and die, I'll do it on stage

Before hand I had seen footage of some other concerts and his voice was rather off tone, etc.
The performance last night was greatly improved.
His dancing... OMGosh!
I've always been one to say WooHyuk is a better dancer but now I'm not so sure.
Perhaps that is due to viewing limited footage of Rain's dancing... anyway I was certainly impressed with his wide array of moves. Such power and control over his body... Amazing!!!!
He obviously put in a lot of hard work and effort to please his fans, for that I'm thankful along with putting on an amazing show that I'll never forget. I was not the greatest Rain fan (Wheesung, Lee Soo Young, Epik High, etc are my most favoured artists) before the show but he won my future support last night.
Pictures? Didn't get any aside from a couple on my old phone so the quality is not good. My ticket had no recording devices, etc printed on it so I didn't take a camera. Not that big of a deal as many others here were just as close and got some great pictures. Thanks for the effort in uploading guys. ^.^
The bad but not so bad? Waiting was not the most fun thing and it was made worse due to knowing nobody there. My friends were unable to go. >.<
He didn't use enough towels...
I forgot to buy a T-Shirt and Cap!!! Grrrrrrrrrr... So disappointed but that's my own fault.
Overall:
Was it worth the $400 to me?
Very much so.
I had came in with not so good expectations of what the show would be like from seeing older shows, however was blown away by an excellent show.
In fact it is a little disappointing that there wasn't greater promotion and more than one event down under.
Being on break from uni, I would probably travel and pay that much and go see another show.
Always been one to praise that music is more a personal experience and the few concerts I have been to didn't do anything to change this view. Perhaps that was due to the style of music performed at that show, etc but Rain's concert has somewhat changed that.
Some things are just so much better live.
Thank you Rain.
Not just coming from a white guy but also one of Rain's more harsh critics; I'm sure this sound pretty fangirlish (minus the "I LOVE RAIN", etc). It's all true though. The show was fantastic, very few minor disappointments.
I'm just repeating myself now so...post over.

Thank you for the post.... I have been trying to tell this to his "antis" - just give him a chance. Give him a break...
but he surely will impress you.
He doesn't has the best voice but combine with his dance, energy, great props - he is one amazing performer.. could be one of the best (Asian).
Can't wait for his US concert - I hope it will be as good as this...
Newlili - TQ for the confirmation..... 6000??? WOW... THAT IS amazing - I mean in such short notice and practically no promotion.
and I believe the ticket is quite expensive.. right?? I wonder how much is the ticket range for an asian concert???
Is Raincoming tix expensive or is it normal price??

Thanks for the wonderful pics, the fancams.. Compared to his showcase, he looked more thin then, and he got a lil bit chubbier after his Malaysia's concert, and then, now tanned and toned.. Not too thin.. Just nice.. 3 days straight at the beach huh? ^^
Bam I'm actually surprised you're back on Soompi.. How's the baby doing? Girl, if not mistaken? Glad you're back!

^.^
I forgot to give props to all the backup dancers, vocalists and production crew. They also all did a fantastic job.
I'm glad I found out in time after checking the schedule last month and Australia not having been listed.
I highly recommend that everyone does go and see one of his shows if they have the chance.
Now if only more artists would follow Rain's cue and do a World Tour.
That'd be awesome!

Yes thanks a lot for your comment too. You make me feel SO PROUD
Too bad I can never make it to his World tour
But I'm hoping for an even more fantastic tour next year when he released his 5th album
At that time I will definitely do everything to see him. Wanna have so much fun like you guys too

and the attendance for his sydney concert is a great achievement actually despite the obstacles and you see he turned non fans to fans. this was something that rainy day couldnt have done so well...(actually after my friends saw some parts of the rainy day concert, they were quite turned off)
his concerts in the US brought hope to ppl who likes kpop. and he is defintely the first korean and asian artist to do that. his current world tour, brings ppl to know him and turn into fans to prepare for his debut in the US( after the concert ppl in the US will like him and thus support his album). i think this is a fantastic long term stratergy of making a sucessful debut in the US. SMART! through this tour, he will have a higher percentage of succeeding in the global market!
suggestion:
i wonder if we are allowed to give daily updates of jung ji hoon (actor) in this music thread so that ppl wont have to go to the drama thread to check for his news. likewise in the jung ji hoon thread, we can provide music updates too! but i think this is the era of Rain instead of jung ji hoon but not letting our thread in the kdrama section die, i think updates are good forms to keep the thread alive.
MODS, are we allowed to do that??
EVERYONE, do you think we should do that??
only this is a pure suggestion and in no way breaking the rules...
and is any going to pm the first post-er of this thread to change the post?? it looks scanty

According to soomp the words highlighted in white/yellow will not be considered as spamming
if added in the comment about the subject.
Please correct me if I'm wrong... We are still very new here.. since there's double standard between korean music section
and drama section - we are quite confuse which is okay and which is not...
BBTW Fwn - That is spamming -
Nakka - I believe there will be some artist that would follow Bi footstep.. I mean about world tour concert.. just that some singers afraid
to try...
I was having doubt that Bi could ever pull this world tour - surprisingly the concert went well everytime.. there was quite reasonable
turnout...
I believe now people are more open. Other singer should try ....
Imagine Shinwa/Se7en here in M'sia... It would be great...

No, Bi's drama related news belong to his actor thread, and his music activites belong to his music thread. That's why we have 2 forums and 2 threads.
if added in the comment about the subject.

It is still considered spamming in our music forum when it is not topic related. I don't think it is any different in the drama forum. We do have our own rules here....and we are very strict about spamming and convoing in threads.
