ANyway - My advice to all - Don't expect much from him...

none of us screamed or fainted or mobbed him, or took out our super lens camera and snapped pictures
we didnt move
his driver (not sure?) said, `just stand here if you want to see him. dont go past me - meaning, stay behind him
and thats what we did
the hugest temptation was fought - none of us jumped him =X
we kinda just stood there and like, half nodded/bowed at him and i said "welcome to sydney"
i think of the the girls said, 'i love you' =\ not sure
but obviously its wasnt in a loud and freaky way because yeah... i cnt even remember
he walked away, and we said 'Bye!'
he walked right up to us, and past
if he just looked up, or nodded, or waved~ wouldve made my day
(wouldve made all our days)
i understand that he mustve been tired from the flight and what-not
but anything wouldve been cherished
if he grunted at us, that still wouldve been something
he didnt ask for us to wait
but we did, because we wanted to see him
and at the time i thought i wasnt even go to his concert because it was so expensive
so it was kinda my only chance, and i didnt have time, or transport to go chasing him around sydney
... also, im not a stalker
it just wouldve been nice to be acknowledged
~i just found out his first concert in US had 5000 seats. sydney had 20000 seats. =|
i thnk it wouldve been a good idea to go as small as US did~ 5000 seats in sydney wouldve sold out- deff.

but hey! i didnt think he was swamped. wasnt he just like ... unnoticed @ bondi beach? & had fans here & there?
oh well. not my area to say anything~ everyones entitled to their opinion =)
yeah. 5000 woulda been better since we had 6000 there was it?
hows the fanclub australia thing going eh?

Is it me or does he look a bit puffy and swollen - even in sydney I think he looked a bit err bloated lol maybe too much partying!
the hugest temptation was fought - none of us jumped him =X
LOL we all know how hard that is not to do...what would you do if you saw him at bondi looking like that though *points to beach picture* hehehe I think I understand how you felt Booey, but I think it can get hard to see that perspective if you are someone that has that happen to them all the time...
I think Bi appreciates his fans, when they show him their support at his concerts and public appearences and buy his merchandise/cds, watch his movies - he doesn't strike me as the type of person to hide his moods or his feelings, thats a good thing to me. As a fan, I admire his dedication, passion and attitude towards his work - no matter if he is moody or doesn't want to talk, thats okay to me, because everyone has their faults, but his virtues make up for it all.
but hey! i didnt think he was swamped. wasnt he just like ... unnoticed @ bondi beach? & had fans here & there?
I wonder that too - surely someone looking like that would get some sort of attention LOL...I know I would look if a guy with that bod was on the beach....though I'm sure lots of other guys on the beach have nice bodies so I guess he blended in? hehe
Also kinda cold weather to be on the beach don't you think? He must have liked it though, since he went what three days outta the 5 he was here?

true true. im overly jealous of you now hehe
ah wells. this just means we gotta work hard to help build his australian fanbase! =]
maybe, hopefully, if he comes back
he'll be greeted with a sold out concert
i couldnt imagine actually chasing him
but i imagine he wouldve felt both loved and afraid at the same time

About stalking him.. I've always feel like doing that, but never really had the guts to, I did went for the airport reception, knowing that he is already here, I was really happy... haha.. But nothing more than that... Fans do expect alot.. I guess, when we started doing stuff for him, it's something unconditional, I personally do not expect anything. Like when my cousin who said that her idol, Jacky Cheung sends back an autograph to the fans to acknowledgement, and she always ask me about what he does to repay his fans? I can't answer her that, but well... I do not regret liking or admiring him, because if I were to expect him to do in return, I would have moved on earlier, and just treat him like any other k-celebs. It's what him that keeps making me hold on too.. It's not just about hot body or great dancing, that's what I've been stressing over and over again to my friends, and all they do is roll their eyes. It's not something that is so easy to understand anyways... ^__^'''
I respect his privacy, i still don't understand his "pms" mode sometimes... but all i know he's human afterall, he's no cyborg nor superman..

and is it really that hard to just look at and wave?
and MAYBE say 'Hi'?
>.<
But reading most of fan accts before from Korean/chinese fans,
they are actually lucky he greets them and gives autograph sometimes whenever they visit JYPE If (he's there.)
He will be having 4 more concerts in the US this year,i was hoping the tragedy wouldn't affect the relationship
between KorAm community in the US and especially the korean students,i know it might have some backlash, but i'm hoping
that there will be none/and doesn't affect Jihoon's concert/Debut too if ever Jihoon decides to push through.
I'm not sure if it's the right time, bec, this is a big big issue all over the world,at least in the US and in Korea.
My 2 cents.
Jihoon has always been known to be a little grouchy, you know. Most of the time, I'm scared to wave or smile at him. Come to think of it, I don't even dare to smile at Mr Ajussi (Mr security with pink tie)
But you know, for the past few concerts, he had been really friendly. He'd always wave and smile even if he's walking very fast, even in the wee hours of the morning after a tired concert.
The only conclusion I can come up with is....something made him very, very grouchy last week and he couldn't even be bothered with good PR skills.
Anyway...like I said, he's cute even when he sulks.
Mehehehe....
<--Besotted SamP/S. J.lee was having the same thoughts run through my head today...the whole issue is tragic as it is...I hope no further tragedy will be sparked off by this incident. Maybe....he should push back for a month or two?

Yup at the Taiwan concert - always very cheery, smiling, waving having a good time!
There were alot of internal problems with the Australian concerts - the companies collaborating did not have a good working relationship....poor Rain and all the staff were under quite alot of pressure and were dealing with many mgmt problems and issues to get the Australian concert to run well - I feel lucky that it even went through and so grateful to all the staff and Rain for pulling through with an awesome performance
From the grapevine - the concert was about to be cancelled even one hour before it was due to begin, hence the delay as they were starting to take apart the stage! Apparently the companies were arguing down to the very last minute - take this with a grain of salt, I did say from the grapevine...
Soo I wonder why there has been not much news on asian shows about his tour in Australia - just cause we're on the bum end of the world doesn't mean we don't matter! hmph!

But it's not all bad ... a friend was in the immigration area with him when he left Taipei and he said "Thank you" to her and her friends
So er, sometimes you just have to be in the right place at the right time
Of course, sometimes I wonder why he's like this but at the end of the day... I just let it go. I'm not going to pull my hair out over it - after all, things will not change

Press conference for Japan <Rain's Coming> concert was held at Tokyo Dome Hotel at 4pm today. Rain told the media that "I'll hold my <Rain's Coming> concert at Tokyo Dome on May 25."
"It's my great honour to be able to perform at Tokyo Dome," said Rain. "I shall present the best show that is compatible to this spectacular stage."
In today's press conference, more than 120 Japanese media from Nippon TV, TBS, NHK had to compete for the 30-minute interview period. Rain will attend a 2-hour entertainment show <Radical> at Nippon Television from 9.25am on Apr 19. He will talk about the preparation for Japan concert, as well as his future activities as an actor. Later, Rain will go back to Seoul around 10pm.
Asia super star RAIN will step on 'the dream stage'
Rain is the first Korean singer who holds concert at Tokyo Dome, once again it proves his position as an international top star. Recently, Rain had a very successful concert at Australia and after a short break, he went to Japan on Apr 18 to promote for his concert and accept media interview, in which he announced his performance schedule at Tokyo Dome. Star M, the main organiser of Rain's world tour has been to Tokyo to finalise the details.
Until now, there were only a few foreign artists who are able to have their concerts at Tokyo Dome, such as Madonna, Mariah Carey, Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, Whitney Houston, Beyonce and others. Tokyo Dome is also the dream stage for Japanese artists, and only singers with sales volume more than hundred millions are qualified, namely Ayumi, SMAP and etc.
In this afternoon, Star M representative and Rain mentioned that "Japan will be the centre for this 'Rain storm' to spread from Southeast Asia to the world~ Now, through his concert at Tokyo Dome, his position as a world star is again acknowledged."
The performance at Tokyo Dome has its significance: It shows that Rain is ready to step out from Asia and nearer to his way to be a world star. Tokyo Dome can accomodate 35,000 - 42,000 audience. Without strength and influence, nobody dares to hold their performances here. Among Korean artists, Lee Byunghin invited 42,000 fans to Tokyo Dome for fanmeeting and it was described as "The grand party of Hallyu".
Star M had a hard time to decide whether they should fix the concert location at Tokyo Dome. However, Rain is believed to stabilise his position and thus, they decided to choose Tokyo Dome and Rain is the first Korean singer to sing there.

I don't think there were any names mentioned from her. Unless, you think it applies to you

1. He doesn't like to be touched (physically);
2. He's not someone who will constantly go out of his way to smile, wave and be friendly to strangers, even if they are fans;
3. He is not 'showbiz'.
Also (and sorry if I end up offending people), I personally think waiting for him at the lobby, the airport or at JYPE is the fan's choice. He is not required to give the favor back. So if you chose to spend hours and hours waiting for him until the wee hours of the morning and he didn't smile at you (for whatever reason), don't automatically conclude that he's a total jerk for not being appreciative of your waiting. He didn't ask you to do that in the first place.
I think people like Jen, Bam and Ling who have been following Bi for years now have known his quirks too well so they know how to treat him. Personally, I wouldn't waste time waiting for him at hotel lobbies myself, coz I know his quirks already. I don't wanna experience it myself and end up feeling bad about him. Sometimes, loving Bi from a distance is the best way to go.
May I add one more thing? That is it seems to me that Rain does not like to taking picture much while he is eating or walking, running or playing on the street or in some places like the bar or the casino.... So please do not feel disappointed when you get refused of taking a picture with him in those situations ... I personally think in those Rain's privacy situations ... We should respect the artist's privacy and we should not demand toooo much ... Let the guy enjoying the meals and his fun while walking or playing in the streets or casino (I read a fan account few months before and the guy was a bit disapointed because he saw Rain was skateboarding in the street of LA and he came to ask for a pix with Rain, then Rain shook his head saying no).... It is quite disturbing to think whenever you eat, play, or walk ... always having the camera flashlights straight to you face and your eyes right? (Sometimes I take pixs and my eyes were blurred and saw many colors for awhile, just imagine taking pixs all of the times like Rain ... I think my eyes could not stand the flashlight anymore )...and I think that is the reason why Rain's head always look down whenever he seeing many flashlights aiming at him!
