Haha, honestly, I don't think Zidane could have hit that hard. He wouldn't have hit him hard enough to get a red card. The main ref didn't even see it, I've concluded the red card was uncalled for. A yellow card, I'd be okay.

I wanted France to win and personally thought that France deserved to win b/c they played a much better game overall, esp. at the end. Zidane, Henry, and Ribery played the best in my eyes. I don't blame Zidane for headbutting that Italian player because I believe there had been a reason, since he normally plays like a good gentleman as everyone knows. However, I do think that he should have thinked before acting b/c like the French coach said, Zidane's red card meant a lot to the French team. He should have held in his anger and headbutt the Italian guy once the game was all over.

Zidane will remain as a true legend and I really do hope he wins the Golden Bell!
