I personally think Materazzi said some pretty bad stuff (whatever they may be) just to get some sort of reaction from Zidane to get him kicked off the field so Italy would for sure win.

Maybe that's why he repeated those nasty words he said 3 times like Zidane said in his interview yesterday. And it worked. He didn't know who he was up against. I mean, he just needed to win for Italy. Had it been someone like Ribery, I don't think this would've been this big of an issue. But, now you gotta face Zidane's gigantic fan-base, FIFA, and your own words. WHAT THE HELL DID he say? Why does he keep on changing stories? It's only gonna make situations worse.
I think Zidane was smart in not telling exactly what was said to him. That way, the press will force it out of Materazzi sooner or later. You know, even if he came out and said whatever it was that he said, no one will be surprised. Everything's been speculated.

^hmm, I don't know. Haven't read anything, but Raul's wife denied being on bad terms with her. She might have been just jealous because Raul and she are like the Beckhams in Spain, and Victoria sweeps in and steals her spotlight. I don't think the Spanish press likes Victoria a lot. A lot of articles commented on how grumpy she looks and how she never talks, but I think it's because she was new to the area and she didn't speak the language. they were MEAN!

Yeah. Materazzi's probably REALLY regretting it all, especially the way and the class that Zidane has handled it all. When I first saw Zidane head butt him, I just KNEW he said something about Zidane's family.

A lot of people have been saying Zidane should've held it in until the match. But, I think it would've been more drama had Zidane beaten him up after the match. ZIdane could've gotten in serious trouble or it could've turned into a fiasco between all the players.

It would've been better if Zidane kept it in and France won the WC, so he can rub it in materazzi's face..smile.gif
:;sigh:: that would've been a great sight .. tongue.gif tongue.gif

Yeah. I hate how people are like, "He should have known better, blah, blah, blah." Well, I'm sure if they were tired from not just the game but also the WC itself, and someone kept insulting your family, you'd eventually snap. We are all human. Zidane couldn't have just gone, "Oh, what you said pissed me off but I'll lash out on you later. Let me make a note to kick your a$$ later, okay?" That's not how human instincts are. You feel threatened or insulted that something snaps inside of you and you just....head butt that f*cker!! Not that it's the right thing to do, but we can all understand.

I highly doubt that Materazzi is losing sleep over what he did to Zidane. He after all has that gold medal. kissed the gold cup and all perks that WC winners get. SO he is a happy man. Coz if he really cared about letting the truth out then he would have clarified and explained himself from Sunday.

But I hope they do not try to get the Golden Ball honor from Zidane. He is has contributed in promoting the game. One wrong mistake should not tarnish his whole contribution to the sport. He has played the game for so long and has proven his talent and just how special his moves were. After all, He is human, he makes mistakes, he has owned up to the wrong doing but was not sorry for the guy deserved that head butt if he was being a jerk. Too bad that it had to happen on the particular time and place. That Blatter guy better not make the wrong move. GIve the guy the award, he worked hard for it. It was given to him already.

beckham has his own soccer school for children. He doesn't take lessons for himself.

Zidane's probably gonna coach a youth team. He said he wanted to work with children. His son plays for a youth team. I guess we can look forward to seeing another Zidane in about 8 years? and he's a looker~

I was just on youtube, and watching some clips that fans put together, and seeing how often these guys start pushing each other and arguing, I take it they all talk a lot of sh!t. I mean, it's all a part of the sport to try to get the other team down, but geez...they can get pretty violent.

Jurgen Klinsmann from Germany. I heard he won't be coaching Germany next WC, there's talks that the US wants him. He lives in La, I think his wife is American.

I really hate Materazzi now. He just seems to set himself up for it.

Oh, yeah! My brother was telling me how a lot of people want him to coach, and the US is fighting really hard to get him cuz the lluuurrrvveesss him. USA has good tastes in coaches. LOL laugh.gif
