the 1 gb cost about a nano, and it can play videos, music, and it has great games, and some really weird game with motion censors.
So far it's been 4 days, and i like it a lot.
The battery life seems to be not bad. Other than the warning says that if you charge the thing for more then 12 hours, it'll burst on fire, i'm pretty satisfied.
I only got the 512mb version, I can't seem to find the 1 gb version =/....
well I'm just trying to say this MP3 is really good.
The sound quality is also good, not amazing but pretty darn good. Most likely the headphones they provide is not that great.

I noticed there are several inconvenient things :
1. you need to convert your videos into .svi format with the software that Samsung provides. Thats time consuming.
2. It can only read .txt files, so you would have to convert your text files to .txt
3. Looks like a phone =/ Only black / silver color?
if samsung could up the memory to 3 GB, it would sell fantastically!

I'm thinking about the H10 JUNIOR as well, but it doesnt show video...so.
Haha, the warning? It said that about my t7. I was paranoid, but it hasnt happened yet. (and yes, I've charged it for over 12 hours). But it only takes about 2 hours to charge fully, so it's not that bad.
the z5 looks nice! but too similar to the nano? and 38 hours of battery life? holy cow, almost as good as iriver.

please do not PM me asking me to close threads, etc! i am no longer a mod! ^^ thanks!

I'm interested in buying a new mp3 player.. I have an iriver h10 right now and I realized I'm more of the flash memory type of girl. This will be my 3rd player.

actually, converting the file to .svi is very fast. At least for music videos or live performances, and it also compress the file making it much much smaller.
THere is another version of this that also has a camera, and bigger memory, but i'm not sure if it's out yet.
not many mp3 can read text so a little hassle to view text is okay for me at least.

i ordered it straight from korean =).. ahha.
anyhow .. this has been one of the BEST mp3player's i've used (owning a 4GB muvo2, TX 512, msi 511, Mini 4GB and a shuffle).
the other version of this mp3player with the camera and updated OS .. the YP-D1 .. it has a OS fix with thumbnail viewing with pictures and of course a bloddy 2mp camera.
i know peopel say that 1GB isnt much for music and why not get a nano 4GB or 2GB at least.. but i'm not one to listen to 5000songs or wahtever... so it's better suiting to me. i keep pics and videos and of course my music.. i just delete what i dont listen to.
Easy! i would give it a 8.5/10.. because the battery life could improve a little.. only getting around 13hours .. with a mix of pics and music. videos last around 6hours for me.so thats great..
I just bought a YP-t8 samsung MP3/video player, and it's great

i agree the earphones are one of the worst i've ever used.. but i bought aftermarket earphones .. they sound the best with passive noise cancelling earbuds (i got the JVC HA-FX 55's for $37AU). the sound quality is actually pretty good because it has 3DnSE.. also you can enhance the bass and 3d and turn on street mode which makes things more clearer.

I have an iPod myself...and I love it. But that's really cool that your nano alternative can play videos and stuff.
