Well yeah, Psat's were a while ago, and everything's been released so I'm sure it's ok if I ask this
the 2 mistakes i made in writing
what's wrong with this sentence:
the ancient manuscript was a valuable find, even though the writing was difficult to decipher and the paper had begun to disintegrate. No error
the answer is E; I first circled E in my booklet but then decided to change it to D...I mean it doesn't seem right for some reason; but had begun is like imperfect past right? so i guess it should be right...er...well someone enlighten me?
what's wrong with this sentence:
Although the 500 mile course covers the harshest part of the Alaskan tundra, scores of dogsled teams complete it successfully each winter since 1925. No error
I put E no error, but it's complete. I dont get it...it's "scores of teams complete"...right?

well for the first one, it can't be had began, nor can it be began or begun.....so it's correct......
the second one, each winter since 1925. indicates that it has already happened in the past.....so it should be "have completed"

yup. in the second sentence it's the "since 1925" part that should tip you off. if it were "scores...each year" then "complete" would be correct.
Hey, look! Finally a different signature after all these years!

1) hmm.. I guess there's no fault in parallelism.. but "as" is.. "was" right? I think "was" is the same tense as "had begun"
2) That one's easy.. it's "have completed" not completed..

first one i can't detect any errors except for a typo that you made.
and the second one is pretty simple. it immediately sounded weird when i read the sentence. completed needed to be changed to have completed
