I'm trying to buy a mp3 but I can't really decide which one to buy.
I was thinking of buying Nano but everyone is telling me that it breaks when you drop it on the floor.
so can someone recommend me one? thanks
I don't want anything over $250

You coulda actually asked this in tech standard. Dozens of these there.
You might be a Iaudio or Samsung person.
Perhaps even a Creative Zen will be good for you.
search and compare some... you might just end up with a Nano in a nice little acrylic case. I think Nanos are nice... probably the number of users is counterproductive to positive reviews.

go to download.com and than go to there mp3 review section. great place to find about more mp3 players. they have reviews from flash memory (nano or anything without a hard drive i guess) to hard drive mp3 players ^^. they also have mini clips about the mp3 player, like the senior editor some korean dude forgot his name, reviews it, telling the good and bad. really usefull website i highly recommended to check it out. helped me alot to pick my mp3 player.

^ Or you can try the asian cnet.com. They have info on lots of mp3 players. I'd recommend the Samsung T8Z if you want to go for a flash player with lots of functions. For harddrives, I'd recommend some of Creative's newer products or the Iriver H10.
