I wonder if this one is good?
Anyone has it and what software do you use to make the pictures looked professional quality?
I saw some pictures taken by Canon G1 (which is cheaper) but it is so nice.
I don't know why this Camera CANON EOS is more expensive but the pictures not that nice?
Thank you for your help

Whats not good about it?

I took all these with a 300D.

A good photo depends on the photographer the most, the camera and program used to edit them comes after.

And to answer your question, 90% of the people use Adobe Photoshop to edit their photos.
The reason why the 350D (a.k.a XT) is more expensive then the G1 is that the XT is a DSLR and the G1 is a point-and-shoot.

My advice is: (and don't take this personal)
If you didn't even know whats the difference between them, don't buy it. Seriously you'll be wasting your money without even taking the full benifit of it.

If you're serious about photog and money isn't an issue, definitely go w/the XT over the G1. Having a DSLR is a big plus and if you've got diff. lens' from cameras around, good stuff.

i don't really suggest dslr unless you're an avid photographer closed to being professional... for "normal" laypeople like you and me, a point and shoot is the best because it's simple and easy to use. i used to want a dslr myself but thinking about all the stuff you have to buy to keep up with the camera [lenses can get very expensive] i decided not to.

Hey I'm thinking of getting the same camera. Photography has recently become a great hobby for me. Anyone with any actual feedback on the camera itself and not just the difference between what a SLR and PS camera is ?

I've haven't had much experience with it, but I did got to take a few shots with it. My initial impressions of the camera body without the grip was that it was too small for my hands. But hey, that was just me. Qualitywise, you can hardly or can't tell the difference when compared to a 20D. Noise level is slightly higher and the flash-sync is slightly slower than the 20D. (1/200 vs 1/250 sec)

My major complaint is the slow 3 fps and small buffer.

Thats all I can think of from my short test ride of it.

Ya.. the supposed downside to that camera is its low-quality feel especially against the 20D. I have a D70s.... I got it because the canon was so small.. my knuckles on my right hand mashed up against the kit lens on the camera when i tested it out in the store.. that made me mad... and its like... all plastic-ish.. I mean its nice to have a light camera.. but the XT was TOO light for me. Besides that.. it suppsoedly takes really nice pictures, though now I'm more of a nikon man since... ya... I own one.
I am the minority here.

xt is very small.
With battery grip, it's perfect fit for my hand.

I use CS2 to edit pictures, and shoot picture in RAW while.
