"Seven/Chil Princesses (소문난 칠공주)" is scheduled to be aired by KBS2 on 4/1 following the final episode of "Thank You Life". The lead actor is Go Joo Won (고주원). The cast include Choi Jung Won, Kim Hye Sun, Lee Seung Gi, La Moon Hee, Kim Hae Sook, Noh Joo Hyun, Park In Hwan and Yoon Mi Ra (최정원, 김혜선, 이승기, 나문희, 김해숙, 노주현, 박인환, 윤미라). This drama portrays obviously different personalities of four sisters of a rich family. The second letter of all sisters' first name is Chil (칠). Lee Tae Ran plays the second sister Na Sul Chil (나설칠) who behaves like a son. Sul Chil and her younger sister Na Mi Chil (나미칠, played by Choi Jung Won) have rival relationship because she is jealous of Mi Chil's beautiful appearance. However, she works hard to overcome her mediocre appearance and is successful in her career. The first sister Na Duk Chil (나덕칠, played by Kim Hye Sun) got married without the foundation of love and then divorced. Afterwards, she faces the choice to marry again. The youngest sister Na Jong Chil (나종칠) was pregnant before she got married and then she lives her life in tears. The actress playing Jong Chil is undecided yet. Go Joo Won plays the role Yoo Il Han (유일한) who is a friend between Sul Chil and Mi Chil. Singer Lee Seung Gi (이승기) plays the role Hwang Tae Ja (황태자) who is a typical mama's boy.

wow...another Go Joo-won drama...I think 2006 would be his year. another KBS Weekend drama to watch out for. After Goodbye Sadness, I don't watch Thank You Life that much so I'll gonna look out for this drama but the casting is not final as of yet

I'm so happy Lee Seung Gi is here!! I missed him seeing him act... I like the storyline and they got really good actors... I may be wrong but isn't 고주원 from boohwal and toji? I loved him in toji... he was great!!

[마이데일리 = 남안우 기자] 신예 이은우(24, 본명 이유미)가 KBS 2TV 새 주말연속극 ‘소문난 칠공주’(문영남 극본 배경수 연출)에 막차로 탑승했다.

이은우는 극중 막내 딸 종칠 역을 맡고 가수에서 연기자로 거듭나는
이승기 의 연인으로 연기 호흡을 맞춘다. 덕칠(김혜선), 설칠(이태란), 미칠(최정원) 등 돌림자가 ‘칠’인 딸 부잣집의 막내 종칠 역으로 최종 낙점된 이은우는 군인 출신의 엄격한 아버지 박인환(나양팔)의 눈을 피해 과외 선생님이던 이승기(황태자)와 몰래 데이트를 하다 결혼에 골인, 철없는 부부의 결혼 적응기를 풋풋하게 그린다.

특히 이은우는 지난달 12일 드라마 제작사인 팬 엔터테인먼트가 주최한 ‘2006 신인 발굴 프로젝트’ 공개 오디션에 참가, 700:1의 경쟁률을 뚫고 오디션에 합격한 신예. 그동안 ‘하이트 맥주’ CF와 가수 이지라이프의 ‘너 말고 니 언니’ 뮤직비디오를 통해 얼굴을 알렸으나 드라마 경력은 전무한 신인이다.

드라마 연출을 맡은 배경수 감독은 “무엇보다 ‘종칠’의 캐릭터를 구상하면서 머릿속으로 그려왔던 이미지와 절묘하게 맞아 후한 점수를 줬다”며 “극중 부모와 할머니로 출연하는
박인환 , 김해숙, 나문희씨 등 대한민국 최고의 연기 선생님들이 자연스럽게 연기지도를 해주고 있기 때문에 곧 신인답지 않은 안정된 연기를 보여줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다”고 전했다.

‘장밋빛 인생’의
문영남 작가가 집필한 ‘소문난 칠공주’는 군인 출신의 평범한 가장인 박인환의 네 딸들과 그녀들을 둘러싼 인물들 간의 달라도 너무 다른 인생사를 통해 이 시대를 살아가는 여자들의 삶의 단면, 그 단면들에 의해 깨닫게 되는 다양한 삶의 의미들을 그려낼 예정이다.

‘소문난 칠공주’는 현재 방송중인 ‘인생이여 고마워요’ 후속으로 다음달 1일 첫 방송된다.

This news article on the drama explains that lee eun ooh, will be playing Lee seung gi's girlfriend in the drama...
the daughters of a military and strict, nevertheless a rich man are 덕칠(김혜선), 설칠(이태란), 미칠(최정원) (duk chil (kim hae suhn), sul cheel (lee tae ran), and mee chil (choi jung won)) and the youngest 종칠 (jong chil) played by lee eun ooh will have a secret relationship, without her strict military father's knowledge, with her tutor played by lee seung gi who is 황태자 and they will end up marrying..

From the sound of the previews and the articles... It seems as if this drama will portray a sisterly relationship, while also showing the interactions btw the girls and their friends, boyfriends, husbands and their father... Since the father played by 나양팔 (na yang pal) is a strict man, I think there will be rebellion and the girls doing things behind his back while acting obedient in front of him...

In the drama, they are four sisters Na Duk Chil (나덕칠, played by Kim Hye Sun), Na Sul Chil (나설칠, played by Lee Tae Ran), Na Mi Chil (나미칠, played by Choi Jung Won), and Na Jong Chil (나종칠, played by Lee Eun Woo). They share the same letter “Chil (칠)” in their first names. Actor Park Hae Jin (박해진), Go Joo Won (고주원), and singer Lee Seung Gi (이승기) play Lee Tae Ran, Choi Jung Won, and Lee Eun Woo’s respective partner. The drama is scheduled to be aired by KBS2 on 4/1.
