My MUVO Mp3 broke!!!

well heres a pic of it:

ok so you get how it slides into the port right? well i slide it off the mp3 and got it on my laptop to download music then i slide it off and u see that little metal thing with two square holes that connects it to the mp3 port (USB)? well it broke off!! I tried putting it back in and its all crooked and the mp3 is almost split apart... so i adjusted it and barely put it in and its not turning on....no battery problem either...so is my 200 dollar mp3 just gone like that or is there a chance to fix it? if so how?

btw i posted in wrong section u can move to troubleshooting

how long have u had this mp3 for? You may still have warranty on this product so take it back to the shop where you got it from and maybe they can help you out.

If you had the mp3 player for a long time hehe maybe it's time to get a new one.

oh yeah i have a similar mp3 but it's the creative nomad. Once it breaks off it's kinder hard to put it back in? Sorry can't help you there T-T

if it is still under warrenty then take it back to the store and have them look at it.. or send it back to creative labs if they are able to fix it...or replace it...
and btw... the creative muvo isn't worth 200 bucks...more like less than 100[depending on storage size]

well the thing is ..

it looks like a user fault.. so i'm pretty sure they wont help you with warranty...

pretty much you're screwed.. new mp3player i guess.

Well whatever you choose, don't trash it. Its fixable if you take it to a repair shop or people like me would find it fun to fix. I must add though, MP3 players have tiiny circuits so it isnt completly a trivial task to fix.
I once tried to fix a minidisk player... whew tiiny circuits. Gave up in the end
