And I like how their songs are very similar to SG Wannabe songs, mood-wise

Looks? I do agree, some of the girls look as if they had surgery (though no one can be certain...) and they all (or at least two of them) constantly wear circle lenses to make their eyes look bigger. But in an entertainment business in which surgery is commonplace, I have learned not to nitpick over whether a celebrity has had surgery or not. What is more commendable to me is that they have not given in to the current trend in Korea of basically taking on a "sexy" image and wearing less and less clothes on stage which is sadly the case for many female artists (though it seems to be dying down somewhat).
Overall, Seeya is a vocally very talented group and I believe they have great potential to be able to do even more. The fact that the members of SG Wannabe trained them is of course going to be a big factor to their music, and listening to their cd, I don't think it was such a bad idea; they are talented girls with great/good songs. In the future when they are more established and are more at ease on stage and in front of the camera, I believe we'll be seeing more of THEM and rid their reputation of being the female counterpart to SG Wannabe, I look forward to that.
i find it funny to degrade women who are "sexy" or use "sexy" images. I mean, look at Bi, isn't he a bit sexual too compared to the women? I don't get why women being sexy is viewed as a negative thing while men being sexy is "hot hot hot" ...? Bi has provocative dances too, takes off his shirt, rain on his body (sexual image), and this is ok and acceptable but it's different if women do it? i guess it goes back with tradition, but come on, if you believe "men and women should be equal in salaries, etc," shouldn't you accept the expression of sexuality for both sexes?
SeeYa is the first female group that caught my attention with their powerful voices. I heard their first single through a clubbox background music and fell in love with the song and voices immediately. Their live performances aren't excellent yet, but rather decent. I agree with some that they were off in some of the performances, but they're all decent. Their voices are amazing, i love these types of voices.

besides Scent of a Woman, which was the song that initally grabbed my attention, i'm also enjoying Shoes, In Order To Love with SG Wannabe, and Promise U right now.

^ i was really surprised too when i found out that she will be on xman... i would never have thought they would do variety shows like xman.....
Yeah coz none of POIBOS artists join game shows before ... well SG Wananbe, M to M, and VIBE didn't right?
Hmm but game shows are the fastest way to gain popularity is true ...

wow thats good..
she'll gain teeny bopper fans ^_______^
Xman can make you or break you... as in ...you can gain LOTS of fans and additional publicity orrrrr You can end up getting labeled a lot of negative things and get thousands of anti's
BUT Gyu ri seems so soft spoken and reserved.. so i think she'll befine ^^

i dont think they ever did... and i respected them for that... they didnt want to go route of the majority by going on to variety shows and juz have their singing and songs do the publicity for them....
and like sue jin have said.. it will either make or break someone on shows like these... i dont know if the decision to go on xman will be a good one.. i hope it does... i guess we will know tomorrow when the show airs....

I'm not trying to be mean, but based on the first few pictures posted on Soompi, I did not expect to see the main singer so un-like the pictures.
I think we sometimes forget that it is nerve-wrecking to sing in front of many people. Even if they practice over and over and over, singing in front of people without shaking or being nervous isn't something you can practice in your room. You just have to keep on doing it until you get over that fear.
So, I say, let's cut them some slack. Okay?
