So Nam Gyuri is leaving the group for real.

Nam GyuRi leaves SeeYa officially, company to take legal actions against her

It has been known that there will be a new member to replace Nam GyuRi for female group SeeYa.

SeeYa’s company clarified on the 20th, “Nam GyuRi will be leaving the group, a new member will be introduced to take her place. The newcomer has considerable vocal capabilities too. SeeYa will not disband without Nam GyuRi.”

With still 2 years of contract left with the company, Nam GyuRi will face legal consequences for leaving the team.

SeeYa’s company Core Contents Media said,”Nam GyuRi, together with Kim Yeon Ji and Lee Bo Ram, signed a 5 year contract with GM in February 2006. But GM merged with current Mnet Media, with that they signed a new 3year contract with Mnet.”

With that, their contract with Mnet ended in February 2009, and they went on to Core Contents Media and the group is currently preparing to release their 4th album.

Nam GyuRi had not acknowledged that remaining 2 years left for the contract and the company declared they will take strong legal confrontation for that action. This has greatly paralysed the team’s work on their 4th album, as well as posed losses to both the team and the company.

It has been known that Nam GyuRi is working to advance into the entertainment/acting field.

Is Nam Gyuri really leaving the group? I have heard some news last year but it was a rumour.
Aww, if she really leaves, i will be really sad. I guess she wanted to concentrate being an actress.
All the best to her as well as Seeya and i will always be supporting them though.

actually im not that surprised..
the signs are all there when NGR first got herself a starring role in Gosa last year
she may not wanted to admit it previously
perhaps for worries that if her acting career is unable to take off, she cant fall back on singing again

hopefully they find a good replacement jus like Seok Hoon of SG wannabe

i wish the New Seeya will really go back to their initial intention of being a Real singer without anybody branching out to do other things, Yeonji and Boram are very talented singers with good and powerful vocal capabilty and they should make full use of it...the previous seeya was really distracting from being a singer since one member is so full of other activities and most of the time spotlight was on her, which made me lost interest to them...i really want Yeonji and Boram to excel in their singing career, they really deserve it after years of training as a singer...and i hope they go for an older girl to join Seeya with the same age range as Boram and Yeonji...the rumoured girl is way too young for Seeya...hope they emphasize more on the vocal part rather than having a pretty face in the group...or else history will repeat itself....how i wished they let Yeonji and Boram form a duo group instead like Davich...i am sure both girls can make it....

Female group SeeYa, who's in danger of having their leader Nam Gyu Ri leaving them,
introduced their new member.

On the 21st, Mnet Media stated, "To fill up the spot where SeeYa's Nam Gyu Ri left is
T-ara's member Ji Yeon," and released her profile pictures.

T-ara is a 5 member girl group that was being prepared by Mnet Media for the last 3 years.
Even before debut, they were most noted for their talnets, and participated in 'Cinderella Man'
OST with a song called 'Good Person (ver.1)'.

Mnet Media states, "Ji Yeon will likely to be the member of T-ara as well as SeeYa's new member.
At the moment, we are coming to a decision within the entertainment company and the members
of both groups."

Ji Yeon is attending Hye Hwah Female High School as a first year and won the 2008 Smart Model
competition, and is participatin as the Smart main model with ShiNee.
