I know the whole fainting incident is everywhere but I'm still kind of in shock that they were lipsynching. And apparently this is the second time? I just really lost a whole lot of respect for SeeYa. The remix, in my opinion, isn't even all that great, haha. Dancing is great and all, but maybe save it for the variety shows. I would just prefer if they sang live. That's really all I ask.

If SG starts lipsynching, I'm throwing myself off a cliff. mad.gif

after seeing that perf i am soo turned off by seeya. honestly if i was in that situation i would have helped the girl. someones life is more important than a stupid performance

I hope this will be a meaningful lesson for all..i think human life is important ..the dance n lipsync whateva..can wait..

Wahhh..I think that's what you call proffesionalism^.
they don't worry abt.their management(SM)firing them by stopping.
Everyone helped her and the music stops too.

Anyway,i don't think everyone should blame it to SEEYA.
Everyone is to blame i think including the PD/Staff/Dancers/ETC who was watching.
Or should i say responsible and not blame.

i saw the clip before, but i thought it was real singing, not lipsyncing...ill have to listen to it later, im at the library sweatingbullets.gif . that was the clip mentioned before, it was at a concert and wasnt shown on tv (at least from what i can remember...saw it awhile ago). even though it may seem the same, its quite different. first, it was Bada that collapsed, not a back up dancer...if any member of SeeYa collapse, they totally would have stopped their performance. also, it was at a concert, they are able to stop it and come back and sing later (which is what Bada did). I have no doubt in my mind that if the circumstances were different, a lot more people, not just SeeYa, would have came and helped REAL quick.

See there's a difference. Bada is a part of the MAIN attraction so first instinct is to check up on the star. Someone mentioned earlier that they stopped a Shinhwa performance because something happened to Hyesung's ankle. They instinctively stopped because Hyesung is one of the stars. Now if it were someone other than the star, everyone would have continued because the "injured" performer could have easily been taken off. That's what makes everything different. Star/back-up.

wait, i have a question.. everyone is saying that the fact that seeya was lipsynching had a big part of why no one helped the backdancer.. but what does this have anything to do with it? everyone knos that when krn groups are performing to really fast dance music they (usually) lipsync.. it's an accepted fact, i even knew ahead of time that seeya was lipsyching in that performance.. stopping during the performance wouldn't have made them look bad coz everyone knows (so obvious).

anyways, just wanted to point that out..

but i don't think seeya should be blamed entirely. i mean, they were prolly confused about what to do. if i was in that situation, i'd have been like, omg what to do what to do.. but i prolly would have pointed out the girl and kind of checked on her when it's not my singing part.
the only thing that bothered me was that all three of their expressions were so calm and unaffected.. esp, boram and gyuri. i wonder if they really didn't care.
also, i read that namgyuri wrote a full apology, but ppl still aren't taking it well. haha. krn fans make a huge deal about stuff like this.. goodness. she didn't DIE.

does anyone know if the backdancer is okay? unsure.gif

i think so. i read that she's always had anemia(?), and exhaustion and something about the lights made it worse.

my friend read from korean website that she's now conscious

but they officially apologized and cancelled all schedules
one of them who was really close to the victim is having a really hard time because she feels guilty..at first they didn't notice her, but after they noticed her, they were all puzzled on what they should do because it was life.

*according to their apology on the internet*

i think it's inkigayo's fault.....there's been a lot of times where ppl onstage fall, and no one does anything about it....and i know this is bigger than someone falling, but inkigayo should have stopped filming....the show's prolly gonna get a lot of crap because of this

No. The camera was on them, so they were trying hard to look calm and unaware.
You can see some of them glancing occasionally.. they DO care.
I just wish people will give them a break.

I sucks to see See Ya gets all the blame and hate, when in fact there are others at fault as well.
And honestly, in cases like this, no one is really to blame.
Everyone is confused as what to do, even the crew in the back.

^ not really, gyuri and boram never glanced back, only the singer on the right (yeonji). you don't kno if they actually cared or not, i'm just saying they had no expression. i don't even care what was going through their heads, i'm not blaming them.

^ Well, from what I saw in the clip, all of them did glance...
It seriously takes a really cold person to NOT care.

I hope this incident won't damage See Ya's career.
They are just too talented to go downhill, and they were just unlucky to experience this....

well, i'm still a huge fan! love their voices and dancing and looks. it better not damage their careers just because of this incident; they're young and were prolly confused about what to do. and all that fuss about lipsynching.. who cares?, ppl can't dance like that and sing well at the same time.

I read that Yeonji was the most shocked and sad... because she was the nearest to the backdancer.

But at least the dancer's doing fine now. I read that she's recovered and is resting.

Looking at my first post here, I guess I overreacted... but I still don't think they should get the easy way out of this. The blame is on everyone, including the people that do the show.

On a lighter note, I really like that remix... and the dance... ph34r.gif

See Ya, I still like ya. <3

seeya better win awards for best new artist. its pretty much either seeya or super junior, and super junior music compared to seeya music is not music at all. super junior music is like fratboy backstreetboys and has millions of girl fans. seeya's music is actual MUSIC.

that freaking scared me.
the crap with show business, dude someone was writhing in pain and needed serious help.
wat if that was you?
imagine if u were in that kind of pain, screaming and kicking and shaking, and have all those ppl around you and none of them help you until like ten million years later.
lip synch song so they HAD to keep going? are you kidding me? ppl knew they were lip synching ANYWAYS so wats the point.
its not a matter of hating see ya, the back dancers or watever its the fact that that girl didnt get the help she needed, wen she needed it by the ppl on or near the stage.
as a viewer it scared me a lot. and if the broadcasting company the singers or the dancers thought that stopping to help this screaming writhing human in pain would be bad towards show business or any of that crap.. they are so wrong.
i promise you that after that girl fell and started screaming, every person that was watching didnt care about the performance ne more, all eyes and attention was on that girl, no matter how big of a see ya fan they were/are. and i dunno about you but the first thing that popped into my head was "why isnt ne one effing helping her" or something to that extent. and the performance didnt need to stop. i mean all it takes is one or two ppl to get the girl off stage and get the girl the help she needed.

=____= just my little speel.. this doesnt affect how i view the group tho... its just disturbing how NO ONE helped... very disturbing.. more disturbing than the seizure itself.

ive watched the clip bout the incident yesterday and had sometime to think bout it... i put myself in see ya's shoes n thought to myself.... what would i have done if i were there.... hmm...

and i came to the conclusion that i would most probably continue the performance and do what see ya did... does that make me heartless n cold?? some might think so... but in the moment of confusion in that 30secs... i would be confused n not know what to do... n in such situation i would think one would try their best to do what they were supposed to be doing at that moment..... and in this case, that would be to continue with the performance...

im not trying to defend anybody here... but merely trying to understand the whole situation... who's responsible then? this i m unsure... this is an unfortunate incident and i dunno who shld be the one who shld take the responsibility...

this whole incident brought some wanted and unwanted attention to see ya... both good n bad attention... good in that ppl are starting to take notice or are more curious bout see ya... bad in that they gained anti-fans... but good or bad, im sure see ya would bounce back stronger from this.. at least thats what i hoped they would do... if baek ji young can make a comeback..... anyone can tongue.gif

crazy stuff going on. just like to point out tho to all those saying that the performance should have stopped. what exactly would that have accomplished? say they all stop dancing and lip synching, that would add even more confusion and chaos to the scene and most likely would have made it harder for that girl to have gotten help. its always like that people with good intentions try to help people that have been hurt but for the most part these people are not qualified to administer help. what exactly could have seeya done? they arent doctors or emts or anything so the most they could have done was to check if the girl was ok. "ohnoes she had a seizure quick call 119 and get help. ok now we wait and pick our noses while waiting for the ambulance to come. oh btw we just did all this on live tv broadcasted everywhere." sounds heartless but the best thing they could have done for the girl was to keep performing and get the hell out of the way when the help did come. imagine if they all reacted to that, crowd screaming, girls running everywhere, everyone crowded around that poor girl and boom instant anarchy for you.

*just my thoughts

Actually, if you watch back at the youtube clip, Yeon Ji is the first to notice obviously because she's closest. At about 20 seconds in, you can see Bo Ram clearly pause and then cover her mouth in shock and then the shot that was used afterwards Yeon Ji looked over at the dancer again.. Not sure about Gyu Ri because you can't really tell from the angles that were used. But then I guess we can all agree that everyone that was present was pretty much in shock and concern.
