Recently Korean mobile phone services have provided access to the roaming technology famous in other countries. I'm unsure if this has been around in Korea for a long time, but only recently have I ever noticed it on the commercials in Korea.

As for the "do they come in english?" question, most Korean phones nowadays have a language switcher that usually come available with Korean and English.

triband fones would work in other countries.
but most of the cool fones are on the 3g network.

but if u do find a fone could work here, but want to get it imported.
you can get it UNLOCKED for a (small) fee i believe at MOST ASIAN cell fone places.
then you can put your sim card in and use it. =]

they do work in the us. but you will have to recieve the service from the korean telecom company. its called "roaming service" and using this, you will have to pay a large extra fee~
