Hi. I just got comcast internet and I have two computers. They said that they could only hook one computer up with internet. I want to know is there anything I could buy to hook both of my computers with internet?

They lie. My suite gets Comcast and we're sharing it among 3 computers.
Go buy a router and hook each computer up, and connect the router to the cable modem, and tada.

Look for wireless routers at Best Buy or Circuit City, or your local electronics/computers store and they'll tell you everything you need.

they wouldnt want you to have more computers hooked up than what you are paying for.
i had three computers hooked up to comcast, and its understandable that they would tell you that. its a business, they want your money

What they said is true if you're not taking routers into consideration. That's a whole different technology.

heheh. I think they're just trying to scare you. I have Comcast too & it's hooked up to more than one computer through a router. I use a wireless router for my laptop.
