You have DVD VOB files.
The 001 002 003 part means that its probably a split archive. Try getting winrar or 7zip (both work) to extract them.
Othewise, they are using an alternaive split method that I am currently trying to figure out. Its the most basic file split system and I dont know how to mush them back together in DOS. I know it has to do with copy file1+file2 but im not sure anymore.
If they are HJsplit/join files, why dont you get hjjoin to put it back together? http://www.guymerritt.com/HJsplit_and_join.zip

VoB files are MPEG2 files for DVDs. Those files are in the ISO and are commonly found on DVDs.
Did Winrar work to put it back together or did you use HJjoin?

I'm actually trying to d/l the .iso files now. Is there like an advantage to d/l the .iso files over the .vob ones?
Yes, you have the entire DVD image at your disposal leaving less room for possible error say...deleting or editing a .ifo or .vob file. ISO files can be burned with a number of free apps out there and if you ever should need to view the ISO before burning just mount it on a virtual drive or open it in VLC media player. If you are burning it with Nero, be sure to close the wizard and click Recorder on the top toolbar and select burn image.

So say if I d/l 20 .iso files and they all end in like .001 - .020 All I have to do is join them all with hjsplit and then I can burn onto a DVD right?
I'm wondering if perhaps you mean that these files you are downloading are archived and once extracted a ISO is found in there. If that's the case winrar should be able to extract without a problem. I'm not familar with hjsplit and haven't heard of it until today.

Oh and I have another question, I d/led a file that was supposed to be 200mb and it stopped at 180mb. I can watch it but it's not complete. Is there a way to resume or do I have to start over?

Are there any par or par2 files available from the source, if so then download that and repair the necessary files. If not then, try a simple resume or square 1.

I d/led it from YSI. What're par and par2 files?
They're known as parity files and are used usually on usenet servers aka newsgroups. Sometimes during the upload there are incompleted files uploaded and these parity files are used to repair them. I would try that YSI link again.
