Ratatat - LP3 is wonderful. Lykke Li, Vampire Weekend, Hercules and Love affair are amazing as well.
I like some of Crystal Castle songs, such as crimewave...but a lot of their songs hurt my ears.
You didn't like Kanye West's cd? I happen to actually like it. It's a lot different than what he usually does, but its still good.

Anyways
Recommendations
Nadia Oh - Got your number
Crystal Castles - Crimewave
The Republic Tigers - Fight song, buildings and mountains
Cut Copy - Lights and Music
Hot Chip - Ready for the floor
Empire of the sun - walking on a dream
Breakfast in NYC - Oppenheimer
The Ting Tings - We Started Nothing
The Streets - Everything is Borrowed

i love Crystal Castles but very true about some of their songs.. like i hatee 'XXZXCUZX ME' ..painful

Hot Chip's album is really good.
Spoon and Walter Meego are cool too.

Does anyone listen to Neutral Milk Hotel? I'm starting to really get into them.

Holland, 1945 is my favourite at the moment.

Death Cab For Cutie of course (:
And a friend recently introduced me to Eisley, and they're pretty good I guess as well.

YES! Finally someone else who likes NMH! They're truly an unique band, and Jeff Mangum's voice is amazing. What's your favourite NMH song?

I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It's probably the most important thing in a person.

Empire of the Sun is definitely my favorite right now.
I love their music videos, too!
I can't wait to see them on tour. It's supposed to be an amazing experience.

I've also been listening to a lot of Friendly Fires. I loveee Ed's voice and the way he dances. Oh my! <3
Paris and Lovesick are my favorite songs. Basically all their songs are just... amazing.

And... I think Phoenix is still indepedent, since their album is being released through Glassnote. But this band.. is pure sex for your ears.
Noooo lie. Ever since I've heard "If Ever I Feel Better," I've been in love. And I'm so excited for their new album to release!
Definitely getting it!

Did anyone go to Coachella this year? I wish I went, but I didn't have money because I bought a Disneyland pass. Hehe.
I'm definitely going next year, though!
