I love Bombay Bicycle Club! They were on repeat on my ipod all summer long. You should check out Miike Snow's "Animal"

The XX
Holly Miranda
Final Fantasy (Owen Pallet)
Miike Snow
Foals
Dirty Projectors
Passion Pit
I've seen the XX, Holly Miranda, and Final Fantasy perform live and I am absolutely in awe of them. Owen Pallet is a freakin' musical genius. And The XX are just THE SEX when they perform. When watching them, I just kept thinking to myself... "Wow, I'm extremely attracted to Oliver right now." hahaha.
I saw Passion Pit last month and I have to say... I had the most fun I've ever had when I saw Passion Pit. Anyone else going to see them perform their mini-outdoor concert for Jimmy Kimmel? Also, I'm going to see them in Pomona a few days after the Jimmy Kimmel thing. <3

Yessss another Foals/DP/PP fan! You HAVE to see Dirty Projectors live... they are ah-maze-ing. Very sweet people too.
And oh my god, I want to go to that Jimmy Kimmel thing so bad. My friend might be able to make it since she's going to school down in LA. I'm so jealous, I missed them like 4 times already.

I really want to see Dirty Projectors live! Their sound is just so different to me, but their voices are amazing. Oh, man. Solange's version of Stillness is the Move is amazing, too.
And yess Passion Pit is so awesome! When I saw them the first time, one of their opening bands was this tranny band, and Alexis Arquette was in it. It was quite surpring. I definitely did not expect that.

Bless your life for being a fan of Fanfarlo! They're soo good. I saw them at an in-store recently. They're all so sweet in person and pretty humorous. Probably took the greatest "family portrait" ever. Hahahaha.

deerhoof
john teshing insane. i'm almost tempted to travel to whichever their next live location is just to see them live right now.
Very, very interesting band in a strange, wonderful way.
and the drummer (greg saunier?) plays very enthusiastically--felt like the tiny drumset was going to die and those drumsticks were going to snap, but I like it anyway.
and wtf I think he plays barefoot
and people in the background look super high but happy
