According to rhythmer, The Quiett's next album will be released in the 13th. Can't wait!
I've been a fan of The Quiett ever since Elcue's Unofficial Experiment EP, back in 2003. But, after his first album, i lost interest. I didn't really think much of his second album. But, his latest is golden! Definitely, one of the better hip hop albums of this year.

Well, they aren't rappers though.. but their style is hip-hop/dance.
TOP and G-Dragon rap in most of their songs..
Really recommend it to you if you like hip-hop in general..
yep, 1TYM is definitely a good group too..

I haven't listened to it yet but I'll take your word for it seeing how you have an excellent taste in music!
The Q only started getting decent after the P&Q project. But then again he won the Korean Music Award for his second, so what do I know right?

It all came down to my expectations. His second wasn't Bad. I mean, it's far better than most of the hip hop releases of this (and last) year - and more fulfilling than Soulscape's latest. It was just somewhat underwhelming compared to his first since i wasn't expecting most of the album to be instrumentals, although they stand well on their own. I was anticipating the 3rd album, but not as much as i had been for the 2nd. I had kind of lost a great deal of hope for Soul Company in general after that Homeboy Show nonsense. So, The Q's 3rd was a good "surprise".
I Completely disagree with you that he only started getting decent after the P&Q project. The Quiett was always decent compared to most of what was out there. I'm not talking about just his albums with his name on them. I'm talking about his work in general under Soul Company - the SC Official Bootleg 1, The Bangerz, etc. Actually, i felt that the P&Q album was FAR inferior to The Bangerz album. It was much lighter and it had more singing hooks than i would have liked. It's just not my taste because of the kind of pop-sensibilities there.
Dude, why even bring up the KMAs? It's just one way of setting yourself up the wrong way when discussing music...

if you listen to his rap closely he says in the beginning
'1990 3월28일 That's tha start of history quarter spanish
filipino half korean blooded little Mr.Lee '
so dok2 was born 3/28/1990 and hes half korean and 25% filipino, 25% spanish ^^
he is in all black with microdot and they released album 1 in 2006 (not sure if they still active)
dok2 works a lot with other artist (a lot with dd i have noticed)
and one of my friends told me that if he raps in the beginning he produced most of the song or something o_o
hes been doing it for almost 4 years.
he has other nicknames, gonzo and notorious kid are the ones i know..
very young and very talented ^^
