me and my bud a bit ago were just watching this from boredom.
Right after that we just got that urge to surge. So we went to my garage and pulled out my NES box with the games and hooked it up to my TV.
It took alot of hardcore oldtime mechanical skill to recover the life of the games (ie. blowing into the games and system. lol) but we had alot of fun- haven't played NES in like 9 years..
dont know where the rest of my games went though. Have alot of common games like dragon warrior, bubble bobble, mario 1/2/3, and some others. no duckhunt gun though! =(
lets REMINISCE! what were your favorite gamess =X

Destiny of an Emperor: Capcom's 3-kingdom inspired RPG. it had pretty good music for its time (chinese-ish soundtrack with megaman-ish sounding music for fights). It had alot of reply value because you could recruit just about anybody into your army and make up so many different teams. I have to say, i definitely played this game more than FF1 and any DW/DQ game for the NES)

Magic of scheherazade: A relatively unknown and very underrated game that combined both action-rpg and rpg modes. kinda like Zelda and Dragon Warrior in one. It was challenging because boss fights were in action-rpg mode and it was one of those games that had alot of pitfalls in dungeons.. and replayable because like DoE, you could have alot of different people in your party.

Ducktales: I pity the fool who didn't like Ducktales! pogostick is fun

Zelda II, the adventures of Link: Probably the most hours I logged unto any Zelda game simply because I truly thought that if I beat it 6 times, there would be a 2nd world like the first game =3. I'm probably one of the few who liked this side scrolling format over Zelda I.

Megaman 3: I like this megaman over the other 6 on the NES.. i really thought you got the most out of your money for this one.. 8 bosses, then after you beat them, you get to fight the megaman 2 bosses all over again! It also had a pretty nice story. And unlike the other megamans, Megaman's eyeballs tracked which boss you were going to select! Stupid megaman 5 and his fixed eyeballs. It is probably the last Easy megaman too.. all the ones after that had ridiculous damage rates. one shot actually took off only one bar of life on the enemy.

Conflict: It's actually a mediocre game.. but for its time, it was the only modern war strategy game out and I played it alot cuz of that
Dragon Warrior III: My fave out of the 4 NES versions simply because it had alot of replay value (make your own team), two worlds, and continued the Erdrick storyline. I liked it over FFI because it had brighter colors and a better storyline, but I still ranked it below DoE because.. well DWIII gets frustrating with its encounter rate

and finally my favorite NES game I ever owned..
Crystalis: One of the very very few action-RPG SNK ever made. It had large sprites, even larger enemies, lots of skills, an interesting story line and good music. But what made it stand out was its gameplay and controls. I don't know how the GBC "remake" ruined this game, but it just did.. stay clear of the GBC version.

Battletoads - STUPID SPEED CAR LEVEL!! That part was always hard.
Kungfu - I still remember the sounds the guy makes when you attack...
