I know that most of you have registered through Collegeboard.com when sending scores to college-- knowing that they give you 4 colleges to send your scores to with that test date for free. In my case, I took the SAT a total of 3 times and for the first 2 times, I chose X college for the scores to be sent to as one of my free colleges. However, I did not put X college down for my third test, so will they be able to receive my third one though? Collegeboard said they send the cumulative of the scores… but when I checked my score report recipients history online, X college only had 2 testing dates. Does that mean that they only received 2 scores or does it mean something else?! Please help me… I am so confused. I hope you all understand what I am talking about sweatingbullets.gif

when i asked my guidance counselor about this he said that you only have to send it to them once and they'll receive all your others. because i put some schools down for the first time and then i put different schools for the second test and yea he said that they'll receive all your schools as long as you say to send it to them atleast once. hope i made sense. but you should definitely make sure. but if you e-mail college board a question all they'll do is probably tell you to call some number.

my guidance counselor is a fruit, but that is beside the point. he said that certain schools need the scores sent directly to them, otherwise, they're on your transcript.

how do you know which schools need them directly sent to them?

^ I think they're debating whether or not to directly send their SAT scores through CollegeBoard or by putting it on their high school transcripts to mail in later.

The first four colleges you send the scores to are free-of-charge. After that, CollegeBoard will charge $10 (from what I remember) for each additional college you want to send your scores to.
