kodogue.... your little speech there was quite inspiring.
i am also in lifetime fitness and there is a diversity of body sizes.
=)
i enjoy the classes that they offer because if i exercise by myself (like treadmill, elliptical, stairmaster) i get lazy and quit. if i do a class, i stick to the end.

HELP ME LOOSE WEIGHT!!!!! SOMEONE !!!!!!!ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I WANT TO CRY

when people say that they gain weight by just drinking water...ITS TRUE!!!!!!!
today all i ate was one! one!!!! fricken potato!!!!!!!!! and i gained a pound!!!
i know i sound like those weight upssed people but i dont know what to do!!
my friend suggested soup diet where all you eat are soups but it wasnt helping
only time i was loosing weight was when i stopped eating...
can some one or anyone suggest something???????????
plzzzzzplzzzzzz

thanks people

okay dont panic!!! i have been in your position
Dont worry youll lose it all! i was drinking lots of water all day and i gained like 3 pounds!!!
i was freaking out ust like you were BUT, in the morning i lost 4 POUNDS!!!!!! i was freaking out like crazy!!!
i was almost about to cry also!!! dont worry!!! if you need any help feel free to pm me! =)
my suggestion is that you eat 3 meals. my dr. said if you want to balance your weight and not gain
to eat like this
breakfast: carbs ( cereal, bread, fruit) its really important to eat breakfast! my dr. said that you should eat big breakfast
lunch: carbs and protein ( sandwhich, burger) small amount ( about a fist full)
dinner: protein ( beef, chicken ect...) small amount
dont be so hard on your self i learned that if you worry and give up youre not doing any help to your self be confident and positve there maybe times when youre fustrated but if you push youre self and want it you can achieve it!!

give it a try and if it does/n't work feel FREEEEEEE to PM me !!!!!! hope that helps

Hey ya'll..

Last week I got Turbo jam in the mail and have been doing the exercises since.

Before my TJ, i took a 10 day trip to Japan and ate ALOT of crap and lost 10 lbs ROFL so that was awesome biggrin.gif (Oh yea, im considered obese by my doctor sad.gif but im not like a 600 lb guy, mind you.)

After a week of TJ, and still eating fairly crappy foods BUT portion controlled and an insane amount of water, i lost another 2.5 pounds and my horribly acne skin is 90% cleared up. yup, all in a week smile.gif mwuhahaha

so no really special diet just exercise and water but most importantly, food wise, PORTION CONTROL OMFG that is super important.

i used to eat ice cream out of the container lol, but now i get a measuring cup and measure out a 1/2 cup portion, which is considered one serving size. After you do this for a bit, you finally realize how much food you actually ate in one sitting! LONG time ago, i had like 3-4 servings of ice cream. god...lol

so yea drink water, control your eating portions, and exercise smile.gif dont starve yourself - it is NOT worth it. (Oh yea, get turbo jam, its AMAZING biggrin.gif )

I went to one of those complimentary nutrition classes that my gym offers, the instructor said that there's no specific time..it's different for everybody.

She then said the rule is that you're not supposed to sleep 5 hours after eating a meal..

so if you go to bed at 9pm...you're supposed to stop eating at 4pm wacko.gif hard..but yeah...i guess i will try it..huhuhu...

For all those people that think it's a pain to exercise (like me, haha)
Biking is incredibly fun. Especially with a friend.
The best thing is to find a clear open space (usually empty schools have huge outdoor basketball areas) and ride around for as long as you want. It's an easy way to exercise and it's so much fun (for me, anyway) and if you have a friend you can easily talk to each other and...keep riding.
I did it for about two hours today. Fun, fun, fun. XD
The real exercise part was getting to the school lot though, there's a huge hill on my street. sleep.gif But oh well, exercise is exercise.

Because it fluctuates so easily, I'm guessing the "weight" you lost was mostly water weight

Is 3 pounds the most that a person can lose in a week to maintain being healthy? So you gotta lose 10500 calories in a week? OMG ><'

2 pounds is the healthy amount to loose per week. =)

Dammit, one month of summer left and i still didn't lose 1 pound.. this always happens! wacko.gif
No more junk food, fried food, and sugar!! >___<
Before i wanted to lose 20lbs, i doubt that's possible now. I'll be happy with 10.

Is it possible to lose 10lbs in 1 month without exercising? Because i eat ALOTTT of unhealthy food everyday, so if i cut down at least half of my food intake, and eat no junk at all, i would lose the weight, right?

HAHA is that a trick question?

The obvious is a NOunless you decrease yourcalorie intake by like
A LOT but thats not healthy for you because then your body is jsut
going to hang on to every calorie u take in so I suggest

EXERCISE.

Feel the burn...the BURN of that fat.

Its the only way..
