oh me too~ i definatelly need to lose some weight this summer. anybody knows how to slim down the back and the arms??

for any type of ab exercise, you will get the best results if you suck in your stomach (the technical term is not "suck in" but, try to make your stomach skinnier) then tighten your abs.. then do the crunches/situps/or any other type of ab exercise.

i have a question after u exercise can u eat ? or i have to wait a few minutes to eat? cuz today i exercise for lik 45 mins then i ate and i feel so sick, i felt like vomiting blink.gif yay guys its almost been two week since i started biggrin.gif GL to all !!

hahhaha of course you can eat silly~~~

But if you worked out for 30 minutes to 1 hour then wait 30 minutes to 1 hour before eating again or else...that work out you did....it's useless! and YES YOU WILL FEEL SICK!!!

And if you are eating.......try smaller portions! I know most people eat like in HUGE CHUNKS after they work out because they think "oh it is ok~~ I burned a lot of calories so it's alright to eat this much!"

biking can be difficult if ur using the machine because u have to go rly fast consistently to burn calories if u slow down then ur not rly burning much ...if ur biking outdoors and doing a good course then its better like with some slope going up and stuff. biking can tone your butt and stuff too so its cool,.
people always told me swimming burned lots of calories but i felt myself building so much muscle in my arms and calves and lol that wasn't rly my goal so i suggest jogging, jump roping, dieting and staying active try not to stay home.

same here i only want to lose weight in a spot on my tummy and maybe a tiny bit off my thighs
i started doing periodic sit-ups through out the day like 50 here, 50 there, 50 there. instead of like 300 at once and not wanting to do it ever again. it feels like its working but theres not much visual difference yet kus i'm only on day 3

Is there a way to swim without bulking up the upper body & getting broad shoulders?
& also for how long do you guys swim for?

awww thanks for the advice ^-^

I have another question would eating salad make u fat? is it better than a regular meal? i know its healthy and all but i was eating wendys chicken salad for dinner (it has cheese, chicken, ranch dressing, tomatoes, lettuce ,etc) and it was huge after i feel so bloated sad.gif

I've so far lost 5lbs (it's not water weight) over the course of a week. I've eaten less & drank diet green tea. I kept a little bit of sugar in because I'm not really in a rush to lose weight, just gradually. I do stretches every few hours. I haven't ran in a few weeks, though. But I really should start running again for tennis coming up.

Beginning of summer: 147
Current: 140
Lowest: 135
Goal: 110-120

It's hard to stick with my plan so basically I've gained & lost weight. I've definitely lost some of my tummy & my legs feel skinnier even though I haven't lost that much weight.

right now i weigh around 116.. at the beginning of the summer, was around 125. i'm trying to get to 112 by dancing, yoga, pilates, gym everyday plus eating mostly veggies + drinking lots of water. i think i'm going to try to do the yoga (the ock ..one.. mentioned) everysingle day without fail. but it's so hard!

Oh, can I join? I really need to lose the pastry rolls, for weddings, for school, eh might as well throw health in there.

Can we post up diets in this thread? I would start up a whole new thread, but I'm afraid some people would just disregard it thinking it was just some other starvation strike.

I'm really excited.

Now I'm also trying to lose my weight ><
I go to fitness center and eat less (or not eat at all) for the dinner or after 6 pm.
Hope it will work out....
