um... are you two only gonna do this for A WEEK? you should eat healthily continuously for maintain fit and lose weight... and also... you can incorporate more excercise in that contract... like wut kind of excercises, cardio/weights, etc etc....

ive tried so haard TT^TT.. i mean.. i know people think im retarded for wanting to lose weight.... since im like 93 pounds (ive gained 3 over this summer)... but but i DETESTE my tummy fat >__<

i say ill eat healthy... but but. i cant help it >__>

i dont know what to dooo

i don't think you need to LOSE WEIGHT... hello? 93 lbs? you need to TONE UP!!!... do some crunches for that belly fat.. rolleyes.gif but.. gaining muscles will make you heavier, since muscle weighs more than fat... buttt... you will look and hopefully feel better biggrin.gif

i am extreamly large so the 10kg (22lbs) was only fat and i have alot of fat to go.
after when you lose the fat most of your body will have lose skin and you start to tone up.
as you are toning up, your muscles start to get tighter and you weight goes. however, it doesnt mean you are fat , its just you are starting to have muscle on your body .
dont over exercise , my sister, she does 2hrs a day on the tredmill and eat what i ate and only lost 400g, because her fat turned into muscle .

rule 1:
dont weigh in everyday, monthly weigh ins are better !

rule 2:
you cant lose alot of weight everyday, keep it slow

rule 3:
dont skip meals, and no late night snacks

rule 4
if you skip meals u cant eat it combined with another meal. eg, brunch

Note: my current weight is 98kg (216lbs) <--- that is called obese
and i dont care what other peoples say, i still love myself !

newbie....to this thread


i've been trying to lose weight this summer so i can fit into this dress for prom

currently...im 72 kg....and i want to be atleast 56kg....so i have a lot to go

recently i've been trying that altkins diet...where you eat a little bit of carbs....but 2 weeks have pasted...and it doesnt seem to working

anyone got any suggestion for on how to lose weight....

Hey all. smile.gif I'm a newbie to this thread. Anyway, I want to lose weight before school starts because I think I gained a lot! I weigh around 110 but I want to be around 100.

Just wondering if anyone's ever heard of the iPod workouts or where to get them? I'd love to give 'em a try. smile.gif

hey guys~! im a newbie here tooo and i just had a few quick questions. i'm currently lookin to slim down my upper arms and also my thighs and calves. I know that jogging and the treadmill is good for you overall, but my thighs and calves are decently toned overall from it, but I just want them to slim down, not tone up. so if you guys have any suggestions, please let me know!

also if anyone would like to be my losing weight buddy? biggrin.gif hehe thatd be great!

im currently 5'2-5'3 ish at around 125ish pounds id like to be down at about 105-110ish smile.gif let me know ^^

in addition to dieting, exercise is extremely important. firstly, it'll make you lose the fat. second, your body will get tighter and more toned, thereby looking skinnier.

it really does work! i haven't been watching my diet so much, but i have been doing cardio for only 2+1/2 weeks and i see some serious results. my thighs and abs show the most improvement. so good luck to you~ you have a lot of time to get ready for prom =]

to slim down, you need to do cardio... that's the only way... so running is the best... for arms, lift some light weights, it won't make you bulky.... biggrin.gif

QUESTION wut excercises do you guys do for your leg workout? my calves seemed to have lost fat from running, but my thighs still seem flabbery.... then i incorporated some weight-training for my legs.. but how much should i use? 50lb???

if your feet has some fat... losing weight will shrink the width.. but not the length..... so your shoe size won't necessarily change but your feet will look better? iono... never really noticed it before.... laugh.gif

can anyone post some strength training excersizes that they follow?
i can probably run 3 miles, but after running i ahve no clue what to do. PLUS i work out at this real nice gym that has almost everything...

in order to actually lose some weight, you guys need to start off little by little
don't say, i'm going to lose 15 pounds this summer because the goal itself is hard to keep up with
instead, say "i want to lose 3 pounds in two week" and work for it.

=)
if anyone wants to be my buddy, PM me, because i'm really motivated to get fit before school ^^
and lose a total of 7 pounds. =)

Heey everyone! this is my first time posting here.
I find some of your tips helpful so thank you!
I wanna go on a jog or a walk but then it's hard for me to eve go outside cus I'm scared and I'm all alone,I don't have any relatives with me and my parents are at work or sleeping and I'm only 13 so I don't think it's a good idea for me to walk alone.
Plus I don't have a treadmill or anything like that.I am also on my PMS and I have these terrible heacaches I do 120 crunches a day,but do u guys have any other kind of workout I could do?Especially when you're on your pms?

if you can't get out to run, i suggest that you do yoga or pilates at home for a cardio workout... and try to work outside as often as possible, like walking home from school ...

for the PMS thing... you can try jumping rope ohmy.gif it burns calories toooo.... blush.gif

ah summer is almost over...I would like to lose 10 pounds by October...I HATE RUNNING. thinking about it makes me cring...I guess I have to try pilates and crunches and eat healthy of course!

I hate running too >_< I've been trying to walk for about 30 mins and DDR (hahaha yes i'm lame but it's allright) for about 30 mins each day, and dieting a bit too ^^; (well. not really. i just cut down on junk food, my meal portions are still the same) I've only lost about 4-5lb so far though...
smile. you don't know who's day you're making. :)

I've lost 10 pounds this summer by jumproping for 45 minutes, playing racquetball for 30 min. - 1 hour, and eating right everyday (about 1000-1200 calories). I'm 5'3" and 97 pounds...finally satisfied with my weight =].

Oh that is so awesome!
Im 5'4 and 104 lbs. I guess im satisified since its healthy
but I'd love to lose some fat around my thighs and buns let alone
waistline (size 2/3)
