How do you expect to have energy to exercise?

Also, the MAJOR problem with this is that your body will go into starvation mode and you'll lose muscle mass. I know you're not body building or anything but if you lose muscle then you're losing your biggest calorie burners and you won't look as toned when you slim down.

The worst part of starving yourself is that once you eat normally so you can maintain your body will store more fat than before. You'll shock your body into thinking that food isn't going to be eaten regularly so it'll store the fat to prepare for the times you starve again.

DON'T STARVE YOURSELF!

^ sleep.gif I eat tons of fruits that I think it's beyond 500 calories, maybe even mroe than 1000.

And I eat vitamins.

Starvation? You think I'm starving myself? I eat small snacks like every 2 hours sleep.gif and I still eat 3 meals a day.

And those are USUAL activities, I don't do all of them.

its 100% natural. it actually tastes good (i tried 3 different flavors.. i liked all of them)
i think it is a good product for diet. it keeps me full too
i think u can easily find these drinks at a market (i bought mine at a commisary)

just did ten minutes (+) each a day.

If you want a snack that tastes really good but doesn't have as much calories...eat Rice Krispies! One is like...90 calories I think. ^^

I've been running lately, but my legs are getting fat with muscle lol. my calves are like gigantic now =O and I was wondering how to still exercise but make them slimmer at the same time. It's kinda gross when i look at it =[

really? that didn't really happen to me... mine kinda slimmed down... how many miles are you running? are you jogging or running.... or are you interchanging btw the two?? i heard that if you do 3+ miles a day it helps slim down your legs whereas doing less than that would make your legs bulky?! unsure.gif

but..i only do around 2.5 miles a day and i am doing fine.. i guesss...

Based on what you posted, yes, 500 calories is starving yourself. Then you're probably eating more than 1000 calories a day then you're fine. I don't want the ignorant people in this thread to get the idea that eating 500 calories is a healthy way to lose weight.

No...you should probably stay away from it. Very freaking high glycemic index levels and loaded with sugar(marshmellows).

If you want a snack, eat a fist sized sweet potato, yoghurt, red lentils etc.

how much weight would you have to lose to make a difference in your face?
and, i want to lose maybe 7 pounds....i work out on a regular basis, and i started watching what i ate...but how long do you think it would take?

I use the eppelitical machine or something tongue.gif I probably spelt it wrong. It's like the treadmill + step machine that burns heaps of calories =]. I usually do around 5km, sometimes less which is probably why I'm getting bulky heheeheh. I'll try running longer sweatingbullets.gif

yea... try the treadmill... wut i found thru experience is that the treadmill will make you lose the fat on your legs and ... overall body... the epillitical machine just tones your legs.. meaning making it gain muscle...

try running next time... biggrin.gif
and once your legs have slimmed down, incoporate some epillical training in ur workout... but .....RUN!!!

Well, I have some bad news for you. Even if it's 100% natural, you might want to double check and take a look at the nutrition facts... 28-30g of sugar doesn't cut it. Sure, they're carbs but carbs with sugars... I think i'll stick to veggies. Also, I would stick with eating whole foods instead of keeping yourself full with liquid meals/shakes because of thermogenesis state. Real foods = body burns more calories.

gah! I must start doing treadmill =[ but its really hard lol I'm so lazy which is why I use the epillical machine sweatingbullets.gif does cycling help lose overall weight or is it like the epillical machine? Also is it bad to eat food at like 10.30 at night before you sleep, even though its like wholegrain bread and baked beans?

hurm,...
i hav a weight problem too
...i used to be very fat.... then at 1 moment.... ( maybe hormone or sutff)... i can control n stuff....( diet)... so i slim down a little...
but somehow.... i dont now how n why...suddenly... my appetite.. gone crazy n mosterous......i cant control wat i eat...i can gobble down eveythin.... ( coz i was brough up not to waste any food)........
.....now...im as fat as last time .....maybe more........
.......help?..........n maybe i need a diet fren......any1 who can help to motivate........n diet together.......plz pm me...

the first time i went on the treadmill i was scared as hell cuz you feel like you have no control of things.. so just start with a low speed and hold onto the bars... eventually you will get used to it... laugh.gif

cycling... do you mean the bicycle machine thingy in the gym... or actually biking? the bike thing in my gym has a calorie counter and you can select courses (i.e. hill, etc) and level of resistence... it says you burn about 350 calories in an hour... but i usually just go on to tone my legs.... tongue.gif

now i just run ONLY... bcuz i have taken up yoga @ home.. w00t.gif w00t.gif

try not to eat before you go to sleep ... if you had eaten a sufficient dinner there is no need to eat anything at all... it's just your CRAVINGS... CONTROL YOUR SELF, SISTER! biggrin.gif for me... if i want to eat something.. i go grab a bottle of water or carrot sticks... and before i go to sleep, i drink a glass of milk and take a vitamin pill to grow tall... blush.gif

THIS IS NOT HEALTHY... try to control yourself at all times.. or else all your hard work will go to waste... losing weight is not about abstaining away from food.. but trying to control how much you eat.. you can indulge in a little chocolate or w/e you like.. just CONTROL the amount you eat....

hmmm.... try not to stock up alot of food in ur fridge... and drink water instead... iono... somehow i no longer have cravings anymore...

eh... if you mind me asking... how much did you lose/gain in this flactuation thing??.. if you want more motivation... read ALL THE POSTS in this thread... and you will be instantly motivated to go out and RUN.... and BURN CALORIES... plus... you learn more about your health... laugh.gif

i can be your buddy.. just remind yourself.. if you eat now... you need to run 2 miles to lose those calories!!!!...
