quick question i was in here before and thanks for answering my question last time i dont remember who but thanks and um can i ask someone and tip on how to make your calves more toner not bigger or just your thigh to be thiner? because i hate my legs so ugly and any excercising tips?

anyone have a nice site....where you can do exercise to target areas?

like i have hugh thighs and flabby arms...and those are the specific areas which i would like to lose weight in...

about the calves.. jessica simpson's legs are INDEED scary... does yoga help? iono.. my legs are more in shape now.. but they are not like.. stick skinny... some people are just born with the muscle in their calves... sooo.. try long distance running?? i need help with this toooo.. unsure.gif

Around how many calories are you suppose to consume when you're trying to lose weight? 1000?
How much calories per meal?

i think the healthy amount is 1500.. but it is alright to go 1200 or somewhere around there.. just don't gooo tooooooo low... someone said awhile back all they are eating is fruits and that's 500 calories a day... THAT's considered ANOREXIC...

just cut back on ALL junk food/soft drinks... you will NOTICE a MAJOR difference in calorie intake.. eat ur meals regularly in small portions. and eat fruits/veggies for snacks... drink only water and tea.. that should cut a LOT of calories...

..... and... take a vitamin pill for nutrients if you are not eating enough...

about the calories per meal.. i am not quite sure.. just stick with the healthy stuff... lean meats.. fish... LESS RICE/CARBS... biggrin.gif


errrr... btw... anyone know how the HECK did she achieve this?!

thats kinda...weird..
i totally knew her from her miss korea days, since i watched it when she was on.
i didnt know that THAT (what she looks like now) was her.. haha

Speaking of losing weight, I posted long long ago, a while back and have yet to come back to check up on this thread. Unfortunatly summer food got the better of me and I gained 5lbs. Then school started and I've lost that 5lbs. (Must be all those stair... sleep.gif) Anyhoo, Prom is coming up for me and I admit, I'm not in the best shape to fit into a fancy ole prom dress. But, hopefully, with loving encouragement and some helpful tips from u lovely ppl, maybe I'll lose the weight and surprise my date. haha... ^^

after losing about 15 lbs, im told to gain some weight by my doctor. But rather than eating all the time, id rather gain some muscle weight^^
But im going off to university tomorrrow, and you know what they say about first years, and the freshman 15 weight gain!

for those in college, how did you guys maintain an active life? like jogging around campus?

hey guys! dunno where i should post this, but i wanted to share my progress with someone, and i figure this is the best place to do that~ sweatingbullets.gif i`m not really sure how much weight i've lost exactly [[i don`t have a scale at home and i don`t go to the gym soo that's that]], but i`m hoping it's a considerable amount unsure.gif . it's not as dramatic as a lot of you people on soompi [[HAVE YOU GUYS CHECKED OUT THE UGLY-DUCKLiNG-TURNED-SWAN thread?? it's so BEAUTiFUL T____T]], but hopefully i'll eventually lose enough to make a significant impact on improving my health. ya. haha. but for now, you can kinda/sorta see it in my face..

mm i run 3 miles about 3-4 times a week. sounds like a lot but i have to do that much to make up for a lack of change in diet .. i can`t give up food.. i`m such a glutton! tears.gif so yeah. slow weight loss, but i figure the slower it takes to get the weight off .. the slower it takes to put it back on? haha i don't know x]. i have a reaaally hard time fighting cravings though .. any suggestions? chewing on ice just makes me even HUNGRiERRR ph34r.gif . i hear you're supposed to eat only when you're hungry .. but i'm ALWAYS hungry ahaha. phew.gif

but yes, that's all i wanted to shareee. oh ya. and the reason why my eyes might look bigger on the more recent photos isn't photoshop .. but as i exercised && started losing weight, my ssok ssangapuel became actual ssangapuel, which is pretty cool, because i was almost even considering surgery for that. vicx.gif they're kinda uneven, but i am NOT complaining laugh.gif

and to those determined to get healthy this summer year.. AJA AJA! HWiATiNG!!! let's keep each other motivatedd, yes? we can do this!! >:]

i run about 9 minute miles every other day (slow i know but im a recovering smoker and a chubz plus i haven't had PE in 4 yrs) and i try to go a little faster everytime and do extra laps everytime and skip rope at the end for a while
however i can't seem to get sore? isn't the soreness a sign you're building muscle? i would love some muscle tone but im not feeling anything. what could i be doing wrong? is it the fact that im ONLY running and not doing other forms of exercise?

soreness is NOTT a sign of building muscle.. soreness is caused by the release of some pyruvic acid ... i think it gets released ONLY if your body is not used to the excercises you are doing... if your body does not react that way.. it probablly means that you are fit... you are LUCKY that you don't feel sore.. biggrin.gif crazy.gif

Ok, if I'm 4'11" or 4'9" (I put both because at school, they say I'm 4'11" --yay!-- but at the doctor's, they say I'm 4'9" --boo!--, which is weird since my older sister is way shorter than me and they say that she's 4'9" too), what is the weight I should be?

I just need to know so that I know how much I should lose. And if I run every 3-4 times a week, would it make my face gradually thin down?
