OKAY T___T'' i keep staring at this thread, and it makes me want to lose weight, yet i keep sayingg .. okay starting from tomorrow blabhlah. but i never complete it. i really want to get skinny! shed at least 10 kilos or at least 5. i WANT TO BE 50 - 48 kilos. T___T'' im getting seriously over weight. is there actually any way where we can like get away from our temptations? like can we do anyhting else.? xD anyonnee>?!

^ yea same here ranbow* i wanna b about 48kg ToT its so hard. today i ate so much, i just cant resist food! i got to lose about 5-10 pounds before i go back overseas..which is like in a month and a half. i dont know wat to do. hELP><

me too! I'm probably goin back to indonesia this christmas. My relatives and friends cant see me this fat! what if we eat a lot of oatmeal?

i always think like that, you know like everytime i will go back to indonesia i have to look slimmer but i never accomplished it =.= i bought oatmeals but never start eating it, i stopped doing my yoga too. ><... but it's all because of school kkk ^^..

^ it's rumoured that green tea melt/dissolves/burns ur fats. <- kinda ridiculous to me...

it does help u to main a healthy cholesterol lvl provided u drink it for a long time. and it also contains antioxidants. basically, its benefits can only be seen after a long period of consumption. long period means...years.

hmm any experts or those with prior experience in here ?
i juss started going to a gym and ive been doing
cardio for 45 min. every other day ... ive been
limiting my food intake for a while now but nothings
changed so thats why i decided to start working out
again ... i dont eat breakfast [i know...HORRIBLE >.<]
and i have either oatmeal/cereal or a grilled chicken salad
for lunch and then juss a bowl of rice and whatever my mom
cooked for that day for dinner .. is this a good way of going
about losing weight? i want to lose 10 pounds by spring ... thanks ~~

is it better to do workouts at night after dinner...(1-2 hours after) or in the morning after breakfast?

^ try doing it before breakfast but leave some time after the exercise before you start eating.

its better in the morning cos it kickstarts your metabolism for the day

no it doesnt. green tea doesnt melt ur fat, it just speeds up your metabolism so you BURN more fat.

^the speed up metabolism theory is not proven scientifically. same goes for coffee makes u lose weight.

I have had almost NO time to do anything since school started =( so much work, stress...etc...and so I haven't really been able to take care of my body. I eat really irregular meals...like I snack a lot after school...much more than I would like. How do you stop yourself from impulse eating? And I plan to go back on my exercise regimen in a few weeks. But if you can relate to this, any suggestions? I lost weight over the summer, but gained most of it back this school year O__O

Since summer is over, the Summer 2006 Health thread needs an updated title. Let's keep the motivation from that thread going here to lose weight! Exchange any ideas for exercising/dieting and get inspiration from others. I want to get skinnier and have better habits before college next year, so I should start now. Maintaining health is a lifelong process, so we can constantly update advice about our exercise and diet habits.

And also, we can look after each other, so we don't slip so often.

haha anyways. i hope to weigh 110 lbs or 115 lbs by xmas hols? i weigh 125 now...:< man i suck. i guess i'll start to jog and....i already eat v. healthy, but i guess i'll try to make some more adjustments. smile.gif

I gained 2 to 3 lbs recently so I just want to lose that. I started cooking mainly Korean food because it hits the spot better but tends to be lower in calories...especially miyuk guk with kimchi.
