Okay, so I was told by a helpful soompier here that I have to walk AT LEAST three miles everyday for the best results.
But I was wondering if I would get the same results if I do 1.5 in the morning, then 1.5 afterschool, because I don't have enough time in the morning.
And I'm WALKING, because I can't jog. Let alone run LOL.

Coffee suppresses my appetite pretty well when I'm stressed out and studying. Also, hard candy. smile.gif

Do you guys find the Han Eun Jung Core in Body workout videoactually effective?
I sure don't.
I think Ock Joo Hyun's and Jo Hye Ryun makes me sweat the most o_O.
Maybe Im doing the Han Eun Jung wrong but all it does it stretch out my body.

Brush your teeth ! It will keep you from eating anything since it will taste yucky with the toothpaste flavour in you mouth biggrin.gif

Hey, has anyone tried DDR for excercise? (DDR = Dance Dance Revoulution). Itīs a videogame that you control with a mat and you feets.. I havenīt tried it but Iīm thinking of it.

I prob. on the weird side phew.gif , but whenever I finish brushing my teeth, I got this feeling of nice and clean, then it feels so great to eat cause I feel 100% of the taste of the food. hahaha... anyway, I should change my toothpaste to the "yucky" one. but thanks for the advice.

I tried DDR, it can make you sweat like crazy if you tried the fast one. Cause it makes you jump and jump and jump! Great exercise~

Haha, well, you should switch toothpaste then smile.gif Mine has a taste of mint... and after brushing my teeths I donīt want to eat for like an hour of two after that wink.gif

It could work eating a lot of mint pills smile.gif Maybe "pill" is the wrong word... hmm. Iīm not that good in English tongue.gif

Cool biggrin.gif I think of trying the DDR game but the problem is I will have to get: Playstation2, dancemat and a DDR game sweatingbullets.gif Iīm not a videogame person so we donīt have any console for the tv sad.gif

But the game sounds so good (and healthy wink.gif) so I prob. canīt resist wink.gif

I just want to get in a better shape then I am now. I tried going to the gym and running, swimming and all that.. and I enjoyed it. But itīs so expensive for me: the bus to the swimming hall + the high prices there. The Gym - Bus + gymcard. And now itīs too cold to run outside.

I live so far away from everything tears.gif + I donīt have alot of time... gaah...I want a DDR laugh.gif

i have a stepmom who enjoys to criticize my appearence, and i have to go have thanksgiving with her in new york. so im trying to lose weight/tone to the maximum in two weeks. and if anyone tells me to just stand up to her, the answer is no. ive done it, doesn't work. so i'd just like to spend my break with minimum "hair-pulling-out" moments as possible.

first of all, im not fat. just to point it out. i dont think i can really lose that much weight in two weeks, considering that its harder to lose weight if you're closer to average than obese, am i right? so this is my really extreme idea. go for it, dont go for it. just tell me if it'll work:

my every day routine will be an hour of yoga and a run on the tredmill (for however long i can go without dying, which varies from day to day [at least 2 miles]). that would be my exercise. for my diet, i'd be completely cutting out carbs, which would include bread, pasta, crackers, rice, etc. and i'd obviously cut out sweets and fast foods. everything i eat is going to be home made, unfortunately, otherwise i dont think i would be able to get by. my diets going to include a lot of veggies, few fruits, and lean meats (fish, chicken) and other proteins (soy beans). eggs and chedder cheese would probably go in with my diet also. is this good? dont say i wont be able to do this. because im determined to do it!!

how much of a change should i expect from this? i mean, only for two weeks. and yes, i know. thanksgiving is going to give it all abck to me. but it'll be okay for the beginning, hopefully.

Recently I started a jogging class and we are up to 2 miles a day now but it is only twice a week.

What else should I be doing to lose weight?

I don't know what to do because 1 scale at home says 208, the other scale at home says 220, 1 scale at school says 205, the other scale at school says 224, and the scale at the doctors office says 217...so I'm just a bit confused.

I've gone down 2 pant sizes...but that was over summer so I'm kind of lost on what to do....please help >_>

Hm, I should try the mint "pills" (you mean, candy?) smile.gif, Nah, your english is amazingly great! So, wait, english is not your first language? My english is not great either, it's my second language. lol

Yeah, you need to get lots of stuff for DDR, also, you need to get a great dance mat. I don't think the dance mat will work well on the carpet, it should be on the hardfloor. But, you gotta get the "firm" dance mat. Otherwise it'll move around as you jump. Hm, seems you like to dance, huh? Oh, have you tried Turbo Jam? I haven't yet, but thinking to try it, cause it moves your whole body, and a great exercise (similar to DDR, I guess?)

I think you can do it. I believe losing weight is a matter or determination, everything is possible if you have that determination (which, I think I don't ave STRONG determination yet sweatingbullets.gif ). Exercise and diet, those are the key. I don't know how much you are going to lose in 2 weeks, but I'm sure you'll lose some. Yeah, I hate it when ppl start to criticize other ppl's appearance and stuff. That's part of the reason that I need to lose weights too. Let's motivate each other!!! mad.gif we'll lose that pounds off!

2 pants sizes, WOW w00t.gif ! I'm happy for you. to lose weight, a combination of exercise and great balanced diet, I guess. (my formula: exercise + diet + STRONG DETERMINATION = success, tongue.gif). Gosh, I didn't know that each scales are different, maybe gotta measure using pant sizes.
