^ Well if you're working hard at your diet, it shouldn't be a problem to eat out once in a while.
when I was dieting in the summer, I tried to limit my calories down to 1000-1300 a day and praccticed tennis7-10AM, 3-6 PM, and walked from 8-9PM.

Once like every two weeks, we went to eat at minado's, which is a sushi buffet... and at first I use to panic because I thought I'd gain back all the pounds, but it didn't affect my diet much. So, as long as you exercise and keep up with your diet most of the time, it shouldnt be a problem to treat yourself once in a while smile.gif

Actually i started out in 2006 Jan almost tipping the average weight scale for my height... That's when i woke up and realised that i'm super fat and i HAVE to lose weight.
The entire process was pretty terrible...
Food wise was quite a sacrifice... I completely stopped eating fried stuff. Never stepped into a fastfood restaurant for since last year... Everything has to be less oil, non-fried, no fats, blah... This really helps me. Soon i become a no-fastfood person. It sounds sad but i'm happy just sticking to sashimi and kimchi ^^
I do skip lunch and i dont have a habit of eating breakfast... But i dont completely starve till dinner... When i'm really hungry i eat biscuits or drink milk. Milk is good for subsiding gastric pains and hunger. Then dinner... eat more vegg, cut down on carbo.
From then... I did start to lose weight gradually...because i didnt take those crash course starving ones... so the losing weight thing took time... By July i had loss around 3 to 4KG... ((I was quite sickly last year...so maybe that helped...><))
But i realised the weight losing scheme was SO SLOW... then i decided to jog.

I consulted my track teacher... and he said only after slow/fast jogging over 20 mins then will you start to burn fats from your entire body. So when it was approaching my exam period ( September )... I jogged for 30 to 40 mins at least 2 times a week(only 2 times because i was lazy) in the late afternoon school....
Maybe stress helped because when i was occupied with studies i snacked lesser and adding the weekly jogging thing... By the end of Oct I loss another 3+ KG within 2 months...

So i found out it's good to make use of your stressful periods like End of year exams to help you lose weight. Anyway... in conclusion about my 2006 weight losing scheme... it was a success... I loss a permernant 6+ KG after a year. I'n now 60kg, 176cm.

Now i'm aiming to really lose till i'm at the bottom of the acceptable weight range like 53kg because i am really crazy over "skinny-ism" ^^...haha~ I'm mad...><
I admit i do have eating disorders... and it isnt good.. it makes you weak.. so eat healthly and exercise!! Cardio exercises, Jogging and swimming are the best overall body fat burners!!

bah.. i'd like to lose weight too
i've been overweight most of my life but just over the past few months i've begun to love myself
so i'd just like to lose 2 pant sizes..
there are some pairs of jeans i want at abercrombie but they only go up to size 12, and it's so torturous because i'm only a size off from that ;___;!!
so i'd like to lose 20-30 pounds for now, and then decide if i want to lose anymore after that
i gained about 13 pounds over the summer from depression but according to my last doctor visit, i've lost it all o_O and i didn't even do anything lmao
so yeah.. i think i'm just gonna try to eat better and do some cardio..
i've got to get inspired and determined lmao
MUST BUY THOSE CUTE JEANS T_T

^ Oh I know! I kept thinking, man, this is the perfect time to do the master cleanse
or a starving diet (It's not healthy, I know =0=) But... everything went wrong ._____.
not what I predicted.

ROFL, reminds me of an incident... when I got a new computer after living a year without it.
It was in summer break, and I didn't even eat. Gah... for the whole week, I lived in front of
the computer and I lost 5 lbs at the end & shrunk 2 sizes o_____o

The Master Cleanser became so popular after Beyonce lost 20 pounds from it. It was even on the news and they even tested it out on some gril from a radio show. Master Cleanser News

In my opinion, its best to gradually lose weight because in the long run you will successfully keep it off^^
When I go on a diet, which is often, my friends would tell me how children in certain countries are starving and here I am..trying to starve myself (not literally), which is no problem for them because they are "thin" tongue2.gif

Basically now, I try to eat as much good carbs as possible, consume half of what I eat, and try not eating after 6-8, and of course, exercising - at least 20 minutes a day.

i'm sorry but i think they're all obsessed.

the poster posts in her title that its for losing weight, then a few pages into the thread she says its not for losing weight. =.="

i say if you really want to lose weight, do it the right way. that's only a detox, its not a real diet.

^ yeah i agree, but the master cleanser i guess is a way to "start off" unhealthy people that eat too much junk food on the way to a healthier diet when they finish. well it is like that for the topic starter of the master cleanser and so far she kept the weight off.

i'm trying the sleep diet, i saw it on kbs, the girl lost a LOT of weight from just sleeping properly.
the more you sleep the more you lose weight because of the hormone leptin that is produced, reducing hunger cravings while those that sleep less actually gained weight since they crave more food.
i'm also just eating fruits now and drinking 2litres of water a day.

I've been on my diet for just over a week now and it must be working cos I weighed myself today - lost 2kg, due to DDRing like 4 times a week smile.gif I never used to exercise so yeah, I guess that's why there are differences now to before.

I've also been eating healthier and as soon as school starts...[which is tomorrow] I'm going to do stretches in the morning and eat breakfast. I doubt that's going to happen though, I tend to sleep in rather than eat breakfast sleep.gif

its not really a sleep diet as such. its just the healthy normal way to live.

get enough sleep so your body has enough energy and so you don't have to binge. easy.

wow i just saw the results of the master cleanse poster. they're really good. but then again motivation like that doesnt work for everyone.

Gah... After reading everything on that Master Cleanser thing... I'm really tempted to actually try it. I'm only thirteen and I already weigh what... 41kg? >_> That doesn't sound too bad, but don't even ask me about my height.. tears.gif
