when I was dieting in the summer, I tried to limit my calories down to 1000-1300 a day and praccticed tennis7-10AM, 3-6 PM, and walked from 8-9PM.
Once like every two weeks, we went to eat at minado's, which is a sushi buffet... and at first I use to panic because I thought I'd gain back all the pounds, but it didn't affect my diet much. So, as long as you exercise and keep up with your diet most of the time, it shouldnt be a problem to treat yourself once in a while
