But.... doesn't that give you leg muscles? and then that makes your thighs and legs look bigger? o.0

nope! i'm not sure if it works for anyone else but for me i could totally see my thighs getting thinner (the gap in between my legs getting bigger and bigger) ^^

besides, it was said that doing stairs is the easiest way to get LEAN not build muscles ^^

oh i like this thread. xD
my god, you have no idea how many times i've tried to "diet", but failed miserably. lol. food is THAT good. =X
but anyway i'm still willing to accomplish my goals.
i'm trying to maintain a 95lb diet, but i'm well over 100. o_O and at 5ft, more or less. =X

what kind of daily routine should i run through with these equipments:
-hoolahoop
-jumprope
-hands
-feet

as for my eating habits, i'll try to stay motivated on having smaller meals. >.<

p.s: are there any ways to lose fat on your face? or is that completely impossible?

Well the truth is, you can't lose weight/fat on one area. mellow.gif You'll have to lose quite a bit of weight to lose some fat from your face ^^

Still continuing my healthy diet, I got no school this week so it's an excellent time to actually cut down on fast food smile.gif The only junk I eat now is a few crackers and a biscuit bar a day, lol.

I'm eating now, but later, I'll be going to do the stairs workout. Weighed myself this morning, again, no results but as long as I'm not gaining weight, I'm happy I guess wink.gif

Wow, I am totally going to try your stairs workout. This thread is really inspiring. I'm 5 ft and I'm 105 lbs. It's mainly the fat on my thighs. XD I need to lose five-ten more pounds by the time I get back to HK this summer!

Does hoolahoop really help you lose weight? I have the ones with the spikes on the inside and I do it very often but it doesn't seem like it helps at all.

i heard bagels are SOO fattening. and it's not really healthy either beccause it's just a huge chunk of flour which isn't nutritious..and the spreads aren't a big help to a diet either.

this is all i kno =]

I have a question. Sorry if it's been asked numerous times. sweatingbullets.gif

Okay, so, in order to to not get muscular legs, you have to slow jog for 3+ miles, right?

And did someone already upload Ock Ju Hyuns Yoga Tape ? And if they did, could you tell me what page? Thanks in advance. sweatingbullets.gif

^ No it's not going to make you fatter, silly.
It's actually best to workout an hour before you eat because you
start up your metabolism.
By starting up your metabolism you burn the food you eat at a FASTER rate
which is GOOD.
But don't binge sleep.gif

btw Bagels are not that fattening, dont exaggerate if it did why else would

it really depends on what you're eating sweetie. if it's whole grain bagel, that's better. if you lump a lot of cream cheese on it...not as good. and it depends on the portion and everything. you can look it up online to see how big it is.

Whats the most healthist spread to put on a bagel because I hate eating it just plain like that? I know cream cheese and butter is way too fattening but those are the only spreads I know and jam.

DAY NINE
breakfast: 1 cup frosted mini-wheats w/ fat-free skim milk
lunch: peanut butter sandwich (lowfat wheat bread, lowfat peanut butter), sugar-free pudding cup, handful of lite-70 cal. sour cream & cheddar chips
dinner: leancuisine turkey breast & mashed potato dinner
snacks: 100 cal. shortbread cookie crisps, 1 cup frosted mini-wheats w/ small glass of fat-free skim milk
liquids: diet coke, fat-free skim milk, LOTS of water ♥

exercise:
3 mile 60-minute cardio run!!
total calories burned ... 502 fat calories

today was probably my best day yet! i did the 30-minute cardio run on my treadmill this morning before school (it's getting easier.. :] my endurance and stamina are improving so quickly) and the same thing after school. when combined, this equals a 3-mile run, 60 minutes of cardio, and 502 fat calories burned. WOOOOO!!

also, i signed myself up for the cycling class with my aunt. smile.gif it's going to be on tuesdays and thursdays at 5:15AM. i don't really mind about the time.. i just need to get to bed earlier on those days. and since the class is 45 minutes = ends at 6AM, i have time to go home and get ready for school. this means no showering at the Y. XDD MORE YAY!

you can still put cream cheese/butter/jam on your bagels. just make sure the spreads are low-fat, fat-free, sugar-free, etc.. lowfat bagels help too. smile.gif
for example instead of butter, get fat-free margarine.

Is Binging when you're really really really full and you keep eating? If I eat till I'm full, but stop, is that ok? Are you sure it's not gonna make me fatter cause usually when I don't exercise I get hungry when it's about time to eat, but if I exercise I get REALLY hungry when it's about time to eat. If I exercise, but I don't diet, can I still tone up? I mean I usually eat what my mom cooks me anyway, and that consists of mostly rice and veggie ( usually my meat are chicken and fish).

binging is when you eat a lot at once.
If you eat and your full so you stop its fine, hun LOL XD
Hmm well yeah, your burning calorie intake so naturally you should be hungry so
it's not a bad thing. It's just like how people get really thirsty after they workout right?
Hmm exercise and no diet is kind of hard I meanif you diet it would get u to ur goal
alot faster!

Asian food is healthy so don't worry, but I would advice eating less rice. I eat like only one small bowl
of rice when I do eat rice which I usually dont- lol XD

geruhjima- good job man! Though if you don't mind me asking, how come you don't do
any strength training? It really helps if you build muscle along with cardio because
then you have lean muscle and you burn that fat at a faster rate. Also
you raise your metabolism through lifting weights and actually it doesnt have to be weights in
general it could be something light like what I use 5 lb. dumbbells

So lately, I'm just really want maximize my appearance. Like I said, I don't think I can diet cause I'm gonna starve in an unhealthy way. I just need to tone up, but I'm really new to this thread and this whole getting healthy thing cause I never really had that much problem w/ my body.

Notice the rolls on my stomach wink.gif and my arms just arn't as toned. You guys can't really see the thighs, but it's not toned either. I'm a small person, so I look like I'm in shape, but I'm not.

I run, lift weights, and do crunches, and try not to snack as often. Anything else you guys can suggest? Thanks.

I have this problem where I just can't seem to stop eating. Its not that I just keep making food and eating it all at once but if I get full while I'm not done eating whats on my plate or bowl then its like instinct for me to eat it. Its like I have a problem with wasting food. I know I should stop and I don't want to eat it but it seems that I can't throw out the leftovers. I try to make my protions smaller but usually I still make too much, or I make too little that I need to make more and that leaves leftovers. Is there a way that I can stop this and still not waste food?
