you could also go for another option like oatmeal. so many options.... cereal and american breakfasts are not boring or "ewww". i guess you just have to get used to it.
eating rice for all three meals of the day isn't that healthy. there are different types of carbs so you are just consuming one type so your body might not be able to digest all of it and your body may be holding onto the un-digested ones. causing you to not be able to burn it off unless you exercise.. alot.

I don't think there are anything wrong w/ rice. ALL cereals are sweet no matter how much or how little of sweet there is. I dislike eating sweet unless it's candy or desert. I dislike MILK too, so I can't eat cereal. I eat cereal as snacks (rarely), but not meals. Oatmeal is sweet too. I think it's fine. My portion is really small. I'm a really tiny girl. I think eating a bit of rice is less fattening than eating cereal. What is cereal made of anyway? Wheat? Oh yeah, don't take what I say seriously. It's kinda like an expression. I always get into trouble with what I say. I don't know what's the big deal against rice anyway. Apparently that's what all asian in Asia eats, and most asian aren't fat.
American breakfast: Bread with some kind of jam (jam is sweet) , bagel with some kind of spread (cheese is dairy) , cereal and milk ( milk is dairy) , pancake (greesy and sweet), waffle, and yeah all the syrup that goes with it, egg and bacon, sausages, ham. What else is there???
I think I'm not improving as fast as Geru is cause Geru is losing weight, while I'm toning up. I'm not trying to lose weight.
Sweet that's not fruit, Dairy, red meat, snacks, and big meals are what make you fat.

And the thing is, if I miss breakfast, I don't eat until 1.15pm at school...or have a snack at 11.15am.
Hm, you know, blue_shoe does have a point, generally asian meals are healthier than american meals.

Breakfast: 2 spoon full of rice, tiny bit of veggies, large vine of grapes and 3 medium size tangerines
Lunch: bit of rice, and VEGGGGIES, but I was really hungry cause it's nothing but veggies, so I ate a granola bar =[, wonder if that's ok, only 150 calories.
Dinner: bit of rice and VEGGGGIES.
done.
FINALLY, noticed some improvement, my stomach still have chunk of big rolls when I sit down but look a lot more toned when I stand up. YAY FOR BLUESHOE.

You seem to be cutting an awful lot of calories awfully quickly. Try decreasing your daily intake by ~500 cal/day. Cutting too much too quickly is bad for you. And if you're ever hungry (not appetite), please eat. Depriving and starving yourself when your body demands energy will actually work against you because when it feels starved, it tries to store everything you intake as fat, and that's the last thing you want.

Wieee~ You're my twin LOL, I haven't worn skirts in years too
Blue_Shoe, like Brusky said, you really are cutting an awful lot of calories. Calories are calories, they don't necessarily make you fat, so please eat. I'm afraid that you're staving yourself more than losing weight

I must eat something tomorrow morning, seeing as I got sports in school before lunch >_<
Note to others: Better to eat something in the morning, especially if you're going to have sports at school, cos then you can maintain the energy for it, plus, it will save you from I don't know...fainting [if you're really weak], or just vomiting I guess. Happened to me once, and ehh, it wasn't nice

You have to work on a workout machine. Or have some kind of device attach to you to do that.
I'm not done w/ my day. So I'll post when I'm done.

I've been having these stomach aches and everything I eat just gets pooped out
the second I'm done eating so I've been losing quite a bit of weight
I hate it though because I don't feel like exercising because I'm so sick T_T
My friend said that it happened to her because her body was adapting to the exercising
and is clearing all the waste from my body ?_? I think that's hilarious.
That's not true right guys?
Anyway I'm at 105 lbs

you can also roughly estimate how many calories you've burned.
http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/exercise/SM00109
DAY EIGHTEEN
breakfast: special k bar, 1 cup cocoa pebbles w/ 3/4 cup fat-free milk, lowfat wheat toast, half of a banana
lunch: 4 strawberries, 100 calorie pack peanut cookie crisps, lowfat peanut butter on reduced fat ritz crackers
dinner: tiny slice of reduced fat wheat pizza (didn't have time, had to work ;___;)
snack: handful of frosted mini wheats
liquids: milk, diet root beer, water
exercise: 45-minutes of spinning, 1-mile run, lightweight strength training
total calories burned ... approx. 500 calories
i didn't want to eat the special k bar, but i had to eat SOMETHING before i went to my spinning class. otherwise i would probably faint or something.. haha.
the spinning class is going good. i'm getting such a workout. there's a lot of sweat, and it's challenging, and my legs are so sore. but i know it will be worth it. cardio is great.
ALSO!!! i'm excited because i might be able to go running OUTSIDE tomorrow!! i really hope i can. running outside is so much better than the treadmill, but since it's been cold i haven't been able to. but it's warming up, so i may try running around my neighborhood in the morning. maybe 2-3 miles? running's getting a lot easier.
