^ I don't think milk is used to lose weight because it's a dairy product.

You can drink it for the calcium; stronger bones =)

milk actually does play a role in weight loss. it has effects on bone density, but i wouldn't say it makes any significant changes.

I heard that three serving of dairy products a day can help lose weight. And I think skim milk or 1-2% milk is better than whole milk. My friend described drinking whole milk as drinking fat.

DAY THIRTY
breakfast: 1 cup frosted cheerios w/ 3/4 cup fat free skim milk, 2 slices lowfat wheat toast, special k bar
lunch: 5 strawberries, sugar free pudding cup, lowfat peanut butter on lowfat corncakes
dinner: leancuisine french bread pizza (i had to work, ok?)
snack: 1 cup frosted cheerios, granola bar
liquids: water, milk, diet mountain dew

exercise: 60-minute 4 mile cardio run, ab/oblique/leg/arm/glute workouts (from CosmoGIRL)
total calories burned ... 620 calories

woot woot! omg my legs & bum were SOOO SORE today from the workouts i did yesterday (a little pullout exercise thing from CosmoGIRL). AHH. it was so hard to do them again today but i did it. i'm doing all of those workouts with 10 pound weights too, instead of water bottles in each hand like they demonstrate. tomorrow i am taking the day off since i'm sleeping in in the morning and then after school i'm going out of town for a basketball game and won't get home until late. i don't want to deal with worrying about running, so i will just run on sunday instead of using that as my day off. oh and GOOD NEWS!!!

RECENT POUND LOSSAGE:
1 lb.
TOTAL POUND LOSSAGE: 9 lbs.

i'm almost in double digits y'all! ♥

Everyone is seemingly having a bad time with dieting, well so am I, I found myself snacking again but not TOO badly, better than how I used to at least. sleep.gif But I didn't eat too much for lunch just now cos I was full somehow. Hm, may I also ask if it's normal to actually weigh lesser than you weighed in the morning? mellow.gif Dieting kinda does get harder, lol.

DAY TEN

Breakfast - Ham and butter toastie, cup of tea [my mom made it, she woke up so early today] mellow.gif
Snack - Crisps (I feel bad, that was probably full of fat calories! =X)
Lunch - Not even half a bowl of rice, with some chinese mushrooms and veggie. No meat, I was too full to have any.
Dinner - Heinz Weight Watchers dish - Chicken Hotpot (contains small pieces of chicken chunks, with vegetables and small potato wedges. (217 calories)
Snack - Yoghurt

Exercise - Lots of walking. Workout tonight, feel that I need to burn calories!

Comments - Today was okay I guess, but I'm starting to find it boring somehow, LOL. Tomorrow I'm going to bring packed lunch into school cos eating junk is just bad >.< I'm not much of a meat person anymore, teehee, only have either slices of ham (for sandwiches) or just 2 cooked chicken wings at the max per day tongue.gif

Goals for this weekend - Seems like Spring has come so early this year, it's already so sunny and pretty warm so going to perhaps do lots of walking....maybe go to the park again like I did last time tongue.gif

yea i was watching on this healthy food show where these danish scientists found that with an increase of calcium, there is a decrease in the amount of fat that is absorbed into the body.
