geruhjima omg.. how do you do it??? lol. your parents aren't against you dieting? my mom doesn't allow it at all, so it's really hard for me (especially during dinner time, she tells me to eat this eat that... grr). but yea.. i'm amazed by your results. happy.gif

nope, in fact, they even pay for my gym fees & membership. they're really helpful with everything.

My mother knows that i'm on a diet. Then she tells everyone then my sister and some of my cousins starts making fun of me =[ & I hate it sleep.gif
but i'll just have to work harder to show them that i can do it! But recently my cousins from HK come to visit and almost every night we go out to eat for dinner & totally ruined my diet plan. & I cant help myself but eat during dinner! lol. I think i gained a weight from ALL the food i had that week when they were here.

I seriously need to go back to doing yoga.

Lol, my parents don't know, but they complain sometimes why I eat so "little", or other times when relatives offer me candy or junk food, and I say no, they're like, "aww, scared of being fat?"...really pisses me off mad.gif

I hate my sedentary lifestyle ;...; I can't run at all. Or do a push-up.
I'm enlisting in the Army in a few months but I think Basic Training will kill me.

I suddenly felt more motivated this week and have done yoga for 50 min on ~ Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and today..
Tomorrow I want to walk a couple of miles alternating running if I can ~lol~

About me..
Nearly 17
Female
Height 5'5 or 5'6
Weight 109 lb
Weak. Never exercise. I just eat healthy, though a lot. (little to no junk food or soda)

Can anyone tell me how I can do push-up, and be able to run a few miles? o.o

geruhjima: how many calories is it per teaspoon? the lowest i've found is like 53calories, and the full fat one is 59cals =_= took out a whole load didnt they lol

alcohol is bad for diets right?

sigh.

nim: very few females can do push ups perfectly, or past like 5. i guess you can start doing weights or whatever to start building up muscle in the arms, that way you'll be able to do more push ups i suppose.

Guys I need motivation, I'm starting to becoming so lazy.

take pictures of your bodies in their current state and look at the picture every time you feel lazy. not satisfied with what you see? you'll probably feel like exercising then. also, look at pictures of bodies you wish you had (like BoA's ;___; ).
if you're losing motivation for eating right, go ahead & eat that slice of cake. just make sure it's a very small slice.. it's ok to indulge in what you really want, just as long as you don't overdo it. and if you're exercising regularly, that slice of cake probably won't even make a difference.

DAY THIRTY-FOUR
breakfast: 1 cup cocoa pebbles w/ 3/4 cup fat free skim milk
lunch: roast beef cold cuts on lowfat bagel, yoplait light strawberry yogurt, granola bar
dinner: leancuisine french bread pizza
snack: 1 cup oatmeal squares w/ 3/4 cup fat free skim milk
liquids: milk, water, diet coke

exercise: 75-minute 4 mile cardio run
total calories burned ... 608 calories

i had a really bad day.. it was so busy at work which just totally burned me out. pretty sure all of my customers thought i was rude because i was too exhausted to smile much or use my "perky saleslady voice". lol. and then i went to get my hair highlighted but you can't even notice that i got anything done... i can't even notice i got anything done. but i can't say anything because it's my aunt who did it, at her salon. now i have to wait awhile until i can get the highlights i REALLY wanted so i don't offend her. blahjdjkndkf.

but i came home from work and busted my bum on the treadmill. good.

geruhjima: wow . yur amazing

i used to stay real fit and have like nice girl abs. but theyre all gone now LOL . but this is what i usually eat & do

i usually eat a bigger breakfast so i dont have to eat as much at lunch because i have to buy lunch which is basically fast food stuff. and when i get home from school i just eat something small. and eat a light dinner.

- cut the junk food as much as possible
- cut the pop and sugary drinks as much as possible
- try not to eat after 8pm
- cut the starchy stuff like potatoes, rice, spaghetti&pasta

EXERCISE. sports is a really good way to burn calories instead of running on the treadmill. & workout at home (:

stopped exercising . now the only part of my body that satisfies me are my skinny arms and long legs

geruhjima:Ah, you inspire this thread so much ^^ I'm gonna continue with my diet until I'm a full on healthy eater and fit I guess lol. I know I'm not losing weight now, but eh, at least I'm not the girl I used to be, the girl who never did exercise and ate breakfast. LOL I'm gonna actually do that, take pictures of my own body...

Has anyone tried looking in the mirror and sucking your stomach in? I don't know about you, but I do that sometimes and think how great it'd be to be slim ^^

Found some articles, that will probably help in weight loss:

~lol~ My arms feel weird after lifting weights! ^^
These "modified" push-ups are impressive... I feel tired after so many, but at least I can do it. =P
Thanks for saying these or I might never do them..

Rainie_Days I do that in the mirror sometimes... And I have to when trying on those clothes that don't fit XD

I want to start doing that "26 minute to thin" tomorrow.. If can I wake up earlier ^^~
Won't it also boost energy for the day? I heard this somewhere..

DAY FOURTEEN (it's already 2 weeks, gone so quick)

Breakfast - Jam on bread, egg and 2 sausages (used tissue to absorb oil)
Snack - Marshmellows x 2
Lunch - Half a bowl of rice with cucumber, some fish, 2 pieces of duck meat. Soup.
Dinner - Ham and Pineapple Pizza [my family ordered it D: but nevermind, it can motivate me to exercise it all off xD]

Liquids - Water, Ribena, Cream Soda drink (yeah I know it's bad >.<)

Exercise - 100 sit ups, 20 modified push ups [they are SO much easier], after my dinner, I done 100 sit ups again, 5 push ups, 10 modified push ups, tried out overhead cycling [my friend introduced me to it, good for the legs], danced to 1 song
Goals for tomorrow - start new schedule - 26 minutes to thin biggrin.gif

Comments - I think my family are starting to realize that I will not eat a lot of rice. I mean, they put like, probably not even half a bowl of rice in my bowl today at lunch, lol tongue.gif Not a bad day, except for maybe that Cream Soda drink =X

rainie_days well your parents are different from mine. T_T my parents would literally lock me up in a room full of fast food if they found out i was dieting. so i always tell my mom "mom, it's not dieting, it's called eating healthy" =D. still, she forces me to eat more during dinner. ah. well i wouldn't consider myself fat anyway, but wanting to shed 5 pounds isn't that much to ask for is it? xD

geruhjima aww that's nice how supportive your parents are. xD it's way easier to diet when the people around you are encouraging you. lol. oh btw how tall are you?

3/17/07 yestaurday

breakfast: fatfree yoplait yogurt w/ 3 slices of apple
lunch: 7 balls of wonton lol (homemade !!)
dinner: 2 small rice wrapped in lotus leafs with a homemade soup on the side
snacks: a handfull of fruity pebbles =)
liquids: water, milk, and soup

exercise: 5-10 minutes jumproping, lunges, squats, and dancing for 20 minutes. =)

today when i woke up, my stomach was nearly flat! it never felt like that before! lol. i guess yestaurday's meal and exercise balanced out quite well. now i don't feel like eating, cause if i do, my stomach will bulge again. T_T oh well, time to eat cereal. =)
