that's it though =.=
well yesterday I skipped rope for a long time... and did a ton of situps too
and the day before I walked like...a billion blocks from school to home... took me more than an hour! O__O usually takes 20 min with the bus and subway...
and... did skipping rope and...err...hula hooping? yup.
I don't see that much of a difference but...gotta be patient.
and should probably do... that Yoga video thing...
I just want to lose 5-10 lbs and tone up my body...
and lose that dang baby face fat/mini pot belly

personally i like the elliptical. i hate running with a passion, but with the elliptical it feels like i'm jogging plus i get a little help wit the handle bars.
so i need to lose alot of weight before my prom which is in the last week of may. i'm not even sure. i'm reluctant to post my weight so i'm only going to post it when i've lost a certain amount, i think about 20lbs? so yeah...
technically i started my weight loss plan around 3-4 days ago and i've already lost 5lbs, so hopefully the numbers keep dropping. there's one thing that's annoying me though and i was wondering if anybody could help me out but, i seem to lack the motivation to workout now, before not really but now i just don't feel like it and if i don't work out then my numbers are not going to go down.
i normally just go on my elliptical or pop in a workout DVD and i'm set for at least 30 mins. i want to work out at least 1 hour but i'm even getting lazy for just 30 min.
What are some workout plans that you think are effective? any motivational tips?
thanks in advance! and good luck/congrats to everyone who has lost weight or is in the process

the elliptical! using a treadmill is horrible for your knees because you're basically banging on it when you run on the hard surface. and plus, i think the elliptical is fun compared to the boring treadmill
Give me advice X___X
you do NOT need to lose weight. since you're in middle school, your body NEEDS FOOD to grow. and skipping meals doesn't exactly help you lose weight (your body will think it's starving so it'll slow your metabolism down).
if you want to work on your upper arms, lift some dumbells (1 or 3lbs) and stretch!

I say elliptical too b/c I read the treadmill is bad for your knees as well.. also treadmill works out everything, no? If you were to use a treadmill, I think running/jogging outside is better.
For the past two months, I've lost 10-15 lbs
Ooh 2 months.. of walking? Or what exactly did you do?? I love walking too! =)
lol. Making my bed for 30mins can burn about 80 calories! Woot! Who makes their bed for 30min? haha funny
Give me advice X___X
Um skipping meals would probably make you more fat.. and it isn't healthy. You're in middle school? So.. 13/14? 105lbs is fine. I really don't think you should lose weight.

i recently lost the college weight that i put on, and i'm starting to really get going on this diet thing excet ;;;
HORRIBLE thing happened two days ago~~ i hurt my foot while jumproping (which btw is a great way to exercise) and i was wondering if any of you have any suggestions for cardio workouts w/o using your feet! i have an appointment to see a doctor b/c my foot really hurts when i start walking, but i'm really bummed b/c i can't work out!! anybody have any suggestions???
btw, if any of you are thinking about doing jumproping, i would highly recommend it!! it's great for your whole body and i usually do 3000 jumps (which comes down to about 30-35 mins) and my tshirt ends up being soaking with sweat.
just make sure you stretch your legs and arms out really well before and after and even sometimes during... and make sure you don't rest too much in between

awww!! thank you so much.
do as many as you can, and then try adding 5-10 more than you did the day before everyday. you gotta build these things up.
DAY FORTY-THREE
breakfast: 1 cup frosted mini wheats w/ 3/4 cup fat free skim milk
lunch: leancuisine french bread pizza, handful of lite barbeque pringles, granola bar
dinner: half of a chicken cesar salad
snack: fat free popcorn, lowfat strawberry yogurt
liquids: diet mountain dew, water, milk
exercise: 75-minute 4 mile cardio run, ab/oblique/leg/thigh/arm workouts
total calories burned ... 650 calories
today was a really good day. :] i can now run faster on my treadmill because i've found the slower speed i usually do feels... well, slow to me. RUNNING MAKES ME FEEL SO FREE! XD i love the feeling i get from it. also, i got new shoes last week, specifically for running! they are pretty hot. take a gander.

they are Nike Reax Run. i love that it says on the sole of the shoe "nike women's running".. haha. makes me feel all cool. LMAO. they're so light & comfortable to run in. ♥ a definite upgrade from my other dirty tennis shoes that i wore when being a cart girl at the grocery store last summer. AND instead of where the baby blue is, i got orange. 8)
oh and i can't wear my favorite pair of jeans for much longer. if you shop at american eagle it's those pair of hip huggers that are light and have tons of holes in them. my mom commented last night that a "saggy butt isn't attractive"... HAHAHA. yeah they are too baggy. :x but i suppose this is a positive thing!
here is a quote for all of you, that i'm sure you've heard before, but it really gives me the drive to keep on truckin.
IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING.
keep on going everybody! the only thing stopping you is yourself! we can do it!

Although most of you guys say that I'm in middle school and don't need to lose weight, maybe a little upper arm work will do. (read from previous page XD)
I dunno maybe it will help.
ok since u guys are doing it i will...
breakfast: rice krisp cereal and water (vitamins?)
lunch: macaroni, banana, and plum
snack: tiramisu with a tad of rasberry icecream
dinner: haven't got there yet.
yep that's what we middle schoolers eat!
