Wah this thread is really helpful. I have decided to start working to gain some weights since I've always been seriously underweight all my life...

If any of you wants to lose weight, here's what I usually eat a day and I'm sure if you eat like me you will become underweight in no time crazy.gif
-A honey tangerine for snack
-Breakfast: instant noodles + 1 egg (sometimes) + some slices of beef wacko.gif
-Lunch: fried noodles / nothing at all/ a slice of bread + egg
- Dinner: 1 or 2 bowls of rice + meat
lol I dont know if it helps at all...XD

I would love to know what you guys usually eat per day too so I can start eating like everyone else sweatingbullets.gif

Anyway...

Day 1:

I've decided not to eat past 5:00 p.m. For me, this is very reasonable. Why? Because after five o'clock I seriously don't do anything except hang around the house eating. From 4-6 I do homework and that doesn't require much energy. If I need more energy after 5, then I eat something healthy. Is this really unhealthy? Oh and I bought one of those hulahoops with little balls attached to them and I hulahoop for 30 minutes everyday. Not much, I know. dry.gif

Does anyone know if eating green tea (yes, EATING the green tea leaves in the tea bag) is good for you? I've been eating it for a couple of days now because green tea helps burn fat but my mom yelled at me and said to just drink the water from the tea. -_____-;;

&&what the effff? you guys only weight like 120 lbs and you want to lose weight?!?!! are you SERIOUS??? I weight 150 sweatingbullets.gif teehee

You're so cute ^.^
Drink the tea like your mum said & don't eat the leaves. 3 glasses will help you bun about 80 calories (as I read somewhere) but basically it does burn fat. You'll find green tea as an ingredient in many burning fat pills.

i ran a mile today only, because i wasn't feeling my best. But when i got home i weighed myself, and i was excited to see that I had lost 5 lbs since the past two weeks. Yay! I'm glad I've been keeping up with my workouts daily and keeping track of my diet.

Well done girl. Don't worry about the plateau, Actually, sometimes it happens because of the muscle building. I went through the same phase where I became slimmer but didn't lose a pound (which was irritating really).

Anyway, you're my motivator ^^ Keep it going ^_~

You know what helps to burn fat?
Try drinking a cup of coffee 1 hour before exercising (cardio).
Coffee will help to mobilize the FAT so that it will be easier to break down

Coffee is a diuretic which means that when you drink it, you will go pee pee
but because when you EXERCISE, there is a hormone called ADH that acts on the kidney to retain water
so don't worry about peeing while you're exercising because you just won't
BECAUSE!!!!!!!
THE STIMULUS OF ADH IS GREATER THAN THAT OF COFFEE
THUS = NO PEE PEE

GET IT?!?!?!
THAT'S WHAT I LEARNED IN COLLEGE!!!

o.k i am getting out of hand

bye bye

tongue2.gif

O.k I found Proof online.

"Will drinking coffee before exercising help me perform better?"

Perhaps. Studies suggest caffeine consumed an hour before exercise can enhance performance and make the effort seem easier. Caffeine also mobilizes fat, so more is burned for fuel. Some researchers believe coffee helps athletes burn less glycogen and enhance endurance. The recommended serving of caffeine is approximately 1.5 to 3 milligrams of caffeine per pound (e.g., 225 to 450 milligrams of caffeine for a 150-pound person--the equivalent of 10 to 20 ounces of coffee). Caffeine's effect varies from person to person. Hence, trial and error will indicate the best practices regarding the appropriate caffeine intake for your body.

See, I am not lying to you. I learned it in school.

O.k hmmm
what else do I learn in school?
O.k, here's one.

A fat cell is like a balloon o.k?
When you eat more than your body can burn, your body will store the unused calories as FAT into these fat cells. The fat cells will grow to their maximum size and then begins to divide into NEW fat cells
rolleyes.gif
I just love human kinetics.
Anyway, the difference between a fat cell and a balloon is that when a balloon is as big as it could get, it will POP.
A fat cell will divide into new fat cells.
that's the difference.
What's EVEN more concerning is that when you lose fat, you don't lose fat cells. You are simply shrinking those fat cells. Those fat cells will remain on your body.
crazy.gif

O.k, I will tell you more new facts later
bye bye
