lost another 0.5 pounds~~ only 20.5 pounds to go until my goal weight!

snack: banana, yogurt
lunch: jook, english muffin
snack II: a handful of almonds
snack III: apple
snack IV: yogurt, soymilk
snack V: passionfruit, mochi
dinner: brown rice w/ tofu & veggies

exercise: 30 min walk, skipping, jumping jacks

Day 16 - 05/06/07
okayy its been like 5 days since i've gone online so i haven't updated what i ate & what i did everyday. but, i've been doing it everyday so i'm just gonna continue today. it's still early (10:17am) so i haven't done anything yet so i'll be back later to give stats. meanwhile... i gotta weigh myself *goes to weigh* okay.. now i'm frustrated. i STILL weigh 130 lbs & that's the weight i started out with. its been 16 days & my weight has stayed the same! i'm so frustrated... :[ i know it takes time to see results but my body is so weird! i mean i see some sort of transformation in my waist & bust but how come the weight isn't going down? i think i may be building muscle but don't i have to lose the fat first therefore losing weight to gain muscle? gahh.. i don't know what to do. i mean i don't really care how much i weigh because if i look good then it's fine haha. but still, shouldn't i lose weight? if the inches go down?... eh

so, i decided to measure.
before: April 21, 07
upper bust: 36 in
bust: 37 in
waist: 31.5 in
butt: 37-38 in
thighs (both): 19-20 in
calves: 15.5 in
weight: 130

after:
today, May 6, 07
upper bust: 35.5 in
bust: 36 in
waist: 28.5 in
butt: 35.5 in
left thigh: 19.5 in
right thigh: 19 in
calves: 15-15.5 in
weight: 130

difference:
upper bust: 0.5 in
bust: 1 in
waist: 3 in (WHOA?!)
butt: ~ 1.5 in
thighs: ~ 0.5 - 1 in
calves: 0.5 in
weight: 0

total inches: about 7 in. w00t.gif
total weight loss: 0 pounds.

whoaaa!! that's some crazy shizzle! lmao. although the measurements aren't COMPLETELY accurate, they're close enough i think. but i still don't believe i lost 3 inches in my waist! it hardly seems smaller. i was honestly SHOCKED when i saw the 3 on my calc. lmaoo. wow. i lost 7 inches. but no pounds! ahhh how is that possible?! is it possible?? bleh. lol. i think i want a new scale lol. anyone know what's wrong with my body? is it normal...to not lose weight?

OK OK time for SERIOUS dieting

STARTING WEIGHT; 125
DESIRED WEIGHT; 100

chubby and short =[.. 5'1''

DAY 1
Breakfast; half a medium hot chocolate, crust of chocolate chip muffin
Lunch; 1 pack of crunchy oats n honey nature valley bars, 1 3/4 small packs of cap cod chips, orange chicken with flat noodles
Dinner; tiny bowl of rice with tofu and bits of pork
bleh ate a lot.. but exercised tons

walking to T station (15 min)
20 miles of walking (walk for hunger [=.. my 3rd year! so glad i finished! exhaustion sleep.gif)
about 2 more miles of wandering around downtown
walk home from the T (15 min)

didn't eat anything in the daytime coz of cramps
Dinner: cucumber and egg soup, 2 chinese pancakes?? (dunno what they're called), some biscuits

+2hrs of weightlifting this afternoon. hit all of my upper body from chest and tris to back and bis to shoulders and abs. legs will come another day.

OH BTW I heard it's not good to hula hoop with those weighted hula hoops because it damages your organs. Something lyke that, so it's better to hula hoop with a lightweight hula hoop. ^^;

Congee is like rice gruel. XD; Having braces I can't eat many hard things [and after a wire change too. ARGH], so my mom makes me congee~ And a fudgicle... is like those chocolate ice creams.. on a stick.. o__o;; haha.
... about the hula hoop. omg are you serious? Hahah well today when I went to hula hoop with that thing again it hurt so much I stopped. ^^;; I might stop altogether~


Day 2:
breakfast: Nothing
Lunch: McD's (god I felt so bad when my aunt was treating us all T_T)
Dinner: Not much, maybe some congee as well but McD's kept me full~ @__@;;
Excerise: 50 Crunchies
100 mountain climbers (... I think this is wrong, but I learned this in jr high, I can't quite explain.. XD;;)
20 sit ups
5 push ups (I feel so pathetic XD;)
Weight: 116 (OMG YAY!!!! 8D)

Day 3:
Breakfast: Ceasar salad with some cheese... 2 bowls. ^^
Lunch: ... congee. XD;; and more salad~
snack: 2 waffles with maple syrup
Dinner: congee & some ice cream XDD;;
Excerise: 100 crunchies
100 mountain climbers
1 min wall sit
Some stretches and leg lifts.
Weight: 117.8

... aww~ Well tomorrow at school I'll be more likely to be active. ^^;; Double gym. Argh.

YAAAAAAAAY!!!! i lost another 0.5 pounds. smile.gif only 20 pounds to go until i'm at my target weight, and only ONE POUND to go until i hit -25 pounds!! i'm soooo happy! it's hard to believe that this very thread was one of the main motivators for me to lose my excess weight o_o
anyway, biked 5 miles so far today. i will bike 10-15 more later, MAYBE run (i don't want to get out of the habit), and do my usual calisthenics & light weight lifting. my arms are getting soooo lean i love it <3

arghhh, it's so hard trying to lose weight...
i'm so unmotivated. anyways i'm 5' 5" and 120.
it makes me sad. sleep.gif

i run 5-7 miles everyday cause i'm in track, but i always eat ALOT once i get home. ARGH.

when i started, so far lost a pound.
but to be honest, you're not fat or anything.
it can also be related to you being in track && you gained muscle :x

I heard or read somewhere that it's easier for a girl to lose weight if its their monthly time (if they have their period).
Is this true and is there an article or something I can refer to?
