So today, I really am going to try to not eat ANY sweets
Cause eventually it'll get to me, even if it hasn't yet.
And, I think, it might be starting too.
I've just ate lots of fruit and tea today. ^ ^;;
So I can lose a bit of water weight.
Starting tomorrow for the whole week I have to be a counselor at a camp with my friend so i'll be busy, hopefully it'll keep me busy enough to not eat tons of junk food.
Goodluck to everyone. x3

Anybody who has managed to shed pounds off no matter how much, please post your achievements here to give us inspirations!!! It really gives that extra encouragement when we see someone who has succeeded
well for me, in the the beginning of summer last year I was getting close to 145 lbs (I'm 5'7" so it's not as bad as you think). The whole summer (3 months) I ate very healthy foods and exercised regularly and lost 20 pounds. It was too much weight loss for me at once so I gained back 10 lbs but never gained back the other 10!

the hardest part is finding motivation lol. i'm not fat but i'm not skinny either.
5'5"
Currently: 123
Goal: 113
sometimes, when you feel like eating, find a magazine with really pretty girls with nice physiques. it gives you good temporary motivation =D
I totally agree with you on this one. Whenever i feel like bingeing, I would go to soompi and go the the korean or other stars photos and look at those skinny models and actress. THat would definitely stop me from bingeing. Hopefully this tactic will work for me till I reach my ideal weight. I really hate school days. I always feel so stressed out and end up over-eating because of it. And then I hate myself for doing it. Still, that did not stop me from bingeing, until recently when I saw my spring break pix and realized how chubby my face look. That is when I am determined to start to lose at least 10 lbs for the summer. My diet regime includes keeping a log of what I eat everyday. I prefer sleeping over eating, so sometimes I rarely eat breakfast (which I know is pretty bad). Then for lunch, I eat rice with whatever my mom cooks as the entre, and for dinner I eat what I have for lunch again and a fruit. I also try to incorporate exercise in it, but it is not working so far because of too much schoolworks. Hopefully, when all my finals are over, I could start jogging again or run on my elliptical.

Like if you have a steak or sandwich, cut them into little pieces and you will think that you're eatting more then you actually are.
I do that with junk food. When I eat chocolate or what, I break my chocolate bar into little pieces. It seriously helps.

Spring into fitness "to do" list:
Set one 30-day goal to kick-start your progress. For example, "I will lose six pounds in the month of April." One goal, that’s all I want you to focus on.
Perform cardiovascular exercise three days per week for 20-30 minutes. Nothing fancy, just something you enjoy or can at least tolerate every other day.
Weight train two days per week for 20-25 minutes. This will help stimulate the metabolism, increase strength and make muscles tighter. You can do it the same day as your cardio if you wish.
Focus on the type of physical activity that you find enjoyable. Most people stop exercising because they get bored. So decide if your exercise consistency will best happen with the use of video tapes, spinning classes, cardio classes that are instructor-led, dance classes, etc.
Winter is over so get outdoors. Power walk, jog, hike and take advantage of longer days, sunshine and warmer weather. This will alleviate the boredom factor for those who hate to exercise.
Spring into fitness "not to do" list:
Going home after work before going to the gym. Take your gym clothes with you and go straight to the gym after work.
Making excuses such as "I’ll start tomorrow," "I don’t feel like working out today," and "I just can’t get into it yet." Stop with the excuses already!
Even though you know you’ll be working late and only have the morning to work out, deciding to stay in bed longer and miss the opportunity to get even a little exercise time in.
Postponing physicals and other important doctor appointments. This is the time to get a check-up.
Going to a fast food restaurant at lunchtime when you can easily pack a healthy lunch, eat at your desk and then go for a brisk walk with co-workers.
