omg i've been sticking to my diet for the past 2 weeks but suddenly i've gained back two pounds out of the three that i've lost??? X_____X i've been eating healthy and stuff...so i'm wondering could i have gained muscle??? o__O lol...i exercsie a lot...everyday i run a mile nonstop or even more...then afterwards i pedal for as long as i can 30-50 minutes on my exercise back...i do sit ups...push ups in between...and sometimes DDR..>__< is it possible to gain that much muscle in jus 2 weeks?

lunch: 3 triscut crackers, cereal
dinner: tacos
exercise: 1 mile run and 1/2 mile walk, arm&abs&leg workout

Day 11:

Breakfast: 4 small homemade pancakes with syrup, 1 chicken wing
Lunch: 2 watermelon chunks
Dinner: bowl of rice with pork
Night snacking: 1 ice cream sandwich bar, 1.5 peanut butter waffle

I would say my eating wasn't too bad today although I shouldn't keep eating at night!! Ahhhh I always do well during the day, then at night I start pigging out!

Gym: 50 minutes of cardio workout = 430 calories in fat burning zone

Breakfast: 1 cup of Honey Nut Cheerios with 1/2 cup of Whole Milk, 1 Aunt Jemima waffle
Lunch: 2 slices of 100% whole wheat bread with 1tbsp of Peanut Butter and Strawberry Jam, some chunks of strawberry shortcake, orange slices
Dinner: 1 medium bowl of Hu Tieu Mi Chay (Vegetarian noodle soup), 1 Chips Ahoy chewy cookie (50 calories), 1 red/white/blue rockets Popsicle (50 calories, 10g sugar)

THE WORKOUT: 1H brisk walk, sprints

DAY 8

Lunch: 1 Nutrigrain blueberry cereal bar, 5 honey wheat pretzel sticks, 1 small bottle of Welch's Orange Pineapple juice drink.

Dinner: Veggie fried rice with peppered steak, 1 quarter skinless chicken, green beans, 1 cup of orange juice.

Exercise: 1 hour walking around campus.

DAY 27 for me

I don't really keep a food log, I just eat smaller portions but more meals/small snacks in between. I've lost about 10lbs so far. 10 more lbs to go!

I do 40 minutes of pilates, weight training (arms), 40 minutes yoga, and run 3-6 miles a day. I don't do all of that EVERY day, I switch it up with various intensities. But I do run 3 miles daily at the least.

hmm...i'm really wondering, i'm trying to loose my 'love handles' and get a healthier body before school starts up again.

but every time i try something, i end up giving up because my motivation disappears in seconds.
what do you do to KEEP you motivated?

Day 12

Had a serious argument with my bf about my eating/gym habits. *sigh*

Breakfast: 3 homemade pancakes with syrup, 2 watermelon chunks
Lunch: peanut butter noodles, banana
Dinner: japanese pasta, orange juice, banana
gym: none

I actually gained back all of the weight I loss and gained a little more than I used to weigh. I'm freaking out. I'm hoping it's because it's near my time fo the month. Well, actually, in about 7 days I should be getting my period.

Lunch: fist of rice, seaweed, kimchi, and meat with 1 hardboiled egg, 1 Chips Ahoy cookie (50 cal)
Snack: 1 peach, half a serving of multi grain Tortilla chips with salsa
Dinner: Vegetarian noodle soup, chocolate milk, 1 cookie


bl00ey: That's a result of just eating poorly and gaining all the weight back =/. You have to exercise and eat HEALTHY instead
of just eating basically nothing. If you continue to eat poorly on your 'diet days' I can guarantee you'll weigh like you were b4 the diet AND MORE.
So please eat healthy and do exercise- it doesn't even have to be something rigorous it can be like a simple brisk walk for an hour or biking for pleasure.
A little exercise each days helps- even stretching O_O.

Seriously, just work harder the next day happy.gif. But really, I'm kind of wowed at the fact you can eat 1 cup of
cereal with 1/6 cup of milk O_O that's just crazy...it's almost DRY cereal for goodness sake.

THE WORKOUT: 45 min. resistance/strength training with 5lb dumbbells

Hello. Can i join?

I don't know what day this is because i started like in June. But since I'm new here I'll say that this is Day 1.

Age: 15.
Current weight: 128. - Before i was 135. So i lost seven pounds.
Goal Weight: 110 or 115.

Day 1.

Breakfast - Blue berry yogurt.
Lunch - Chicken and 1 cup rice w. water.
Dinner - Salad w. cucumber & chicken w. 2 tsp of Italian dressing.

Exercise Morning: 65 minutes on trendmill. - running and walking - lost 505 calories. & 90 minute of the Biggest Loser workout.

+++ I'm trying to lose some weight before school starts. : ) I want to get a new me.

Exercise evening: 70 minutes on trendmill - running mostly & lil walking - lost 527 calories.

yesterday was a FAILURE >_>

but i won't let one day let me down.

DAY 22.

Breakfast: one cup of rice chex with 1/6 a cup of whole milk (ran out of skim, but only had a tiny bit of whole)
Lunch: a bowl of macaroni with diced spam (only a little portion), about 15 cheez its (70 calories)
Snack: 2 pieces of 100% light wheat bread, 1 tsp of peanut butter on each
Dinner: a mango with some lychee

Exercise: 5 minutes of stretching, 10 minute cardio, 50 sit ups, squats

DAY 9

Didn't eat too much today, which I'm proud of. But last night after I had dinner, I walked over to Ben & Jerry's and got me a Mint Cookie shake. >____>;;

Lunch: (woke up during noon, too lazy to walk down and get real food) 1 Vanilla Silk soymilk, countless amounts of honey wheat pretzel sticks. (Lmao, only have 3 more in the bag.)

Dinner: Garlic roasted vegetables, pasta salad, fettucini alfredo, 1 hamburger (:X), 1 buffalo chicken wrap, tofu and baby carrots with olive oil vinaigrette.

Exercise: Uhhh, walking to and from the cafeteria. (~1/2 mile?)

Since last Saturday (1 week), I`ve lost 6 lbs., and I didn`t um.. throw it up or anything like that -- I did it the old fashion way!
Exercise:
4 days of running/jogging/speedwalking (no walking at all) : 30 minutes, so that`s about 3 miles? (I do 1 mile in 8 minutes).
4 days of going up and down stairs for 3 minutes without stopping
1 day of swimming : 30 laps (20 laps regular swimming, 10 butterfly stroke)... I wanted to do more, I was too busy.
50 crunches a day
3 minutes of squats for 2 days
5 push-ups a day (no upper-body strength.. haha)
25 lunges for 2 days (I meant to do more)..

For diet:
I just cut down my protions considerably (to where I was "satisfied", not "full-oh-my-god-I`m-gonna-blow"), and if fast-food couldn`t be avoided, I just chose fruit instead of fries, and absolutely NO soda.

I`m planning on losing about 30-35 pounds, and toning up. I know weight loss like this won`t happen every week, but still -- it`s very exciting!! haha laugh.gif


On to week 2!! >__< Plan on not eating sweets AT ALL, I cheated a bit.. It was my step`s b-day, so I had a cookie and a piece of pie.. dry.gif And ice cream. xD

Kazunomiya:Good job =] keep it up! Im so glad you were able to do it the old fashioned way and not the new, dumb, dangerous way =]

Okay, so i read my mom's fitness magazines =]]]]]]
so anyway,
try to avoid doing situps, instead do crunches because situps may cause you physical problems later on because when you're doing them you're basically just using your hips to move but nothing else...so do crunches =]] yah
i should reread the mag but too lazy
ohh and those who are doing the diets: i dont think it would be good to do a diet. especially because you're eating less but you should eat more =] like eat whenever you want just make sure what you are eating is healthy, like if you are hungry then eat an apple or a salad...or something, just stay away from junk foods and the like.
ohh and stay away from eating rice every day. yah i know hard, since i practically eat it with every meal, but it raises your insulin level or something like that. so dont eat it a lot.....

so anyway
i just want to gain weight by muscle and get in shape because im kinda skinny....
but i wanna gain weight, not fat
since it is now the summer i am really being bad
i mean, eating lots of junk food and such yeah, you can now see it
and i might be skinny but i dont have the fastest metabolism in the world...and evn if i have a fast metabolism thats still no excuse
so uhhh yeah.... i have to get up in the morning to run every day and stay away from the cupcakes. v________v

i want to gain about 5 pounds of muscle or more, whatever, i just want to get in shape, get healthy, be able to run the mile without almost dying, and get a stomach like fergie =].

That`s what I was thinking, but usually when you lose weight, or you suddenly make a change, the first couple weeks you lose a pretty good amount of weight, then the numbers dwindle. I wouldn`t worry about it. happy.gif I`m just happy I lost weight at all! haha Thank you!!

Breakfast: One egg white. One can of sugar free Redbull

Lunch: Baby Greens, One shrimp, a mint cocktail, two bites of chocolate cake

Dinner: Baby Greens, dry

Exercise: 50 laps in the pool

Gosh.. I had four shots of tequila at night.. so many calories!!






Saturday 07.21.2007

Breakfast: N/A

Lunch: Baby Greens, dry

Dinner: 2 pcs of Shrimp Sushi, 2 pcs of Veggie Tempura, 1/4 of Salmon filet.

Exercise: 40 laps in the pool + 2 hrs of Hot Yoga
