I'm 4'11 right now and currently weigh 120lbs and when I told my friend, she was like shocked because I don't look like it.. but then again, I have muscles but barely too, my body's weird. dry.gif

My goal for the coming year is 100 lbs.
Do you guys think it's okay to lose 20 lbs during a 2 month period? And would my skin sag after I lose the weight after 2 months?

I'm just afraid that if I become 'skinny', I'm going to look smaller than I already am sweatingbullets.gif

We're the same! ^-^ I'm only 4"11 and 120 pounds (I keep gaining pounds a day and losing them afterwards >_<). I want to be 100 lbs. too, but I don't know the most effective way. I think I exercise too little or don't know the right exercises..=\

well i lost 10 lbs in around a month from running 2-3 miles almost every day, not eating fattening foods (junkfood, fastfood, soda, etc), drinking lots of water, and not eating after 6pm. i also did like lunges/squats, arm exercises, crunches etc. hahaha. it takes a lotta work =P

wow..pretty much the same as me..except i was 115..anyway..during 2nd semester..i had weight training..a lost 15 pounds in about 2-3 months~ so i believe its okay..as long as ure eating well and exercising every other day~ your skin will not sag~ at least mine isnt..lol

plus..if you become "skinny"..you wont look smaller..jus thinner? and you said you have some muscles so..that could impact how you look and how much you weigh since muscles weigh more than fat..i gained 5 pounds so now i currently 105..i think its muscles..and possibly some fat since i went through an emotional downfall and to me..FOOD IS THE SOLUTION xD anyway..back to the point..jus eat right and exercise daily~ =)

I know this isn't exactly a thread for what I'm asking, but I don't wanna make a new topic.. so I'm just going to ask here
I actually have a problem gaining weight sweatingbullets.gif .
Any advice?
It's depressing when people think that I'm anorexic....
I mean, I DO eat...
And please, don't tell me to eat fattening food or eat more than my stomach and handle.

Will excercising actually help me gain weight?
I'm a lazy bum. I'm really inactive.
I don't really do anything that involves extreme movements.
I eat 3 meals a day. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
I eat til I don't feel like eating anymore.
The last time I forced myself to eat I ended up in the hospital (for a problem, but i'm 99% sure that it's b/c of the diet I was doing)... dry.gif
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

for poeple with your kind of problem i just wanna like donate my extra fat
haha im not much of help but whenever poeple like wants/needs to gain
weight i always think about how i want to transfer my fat to them tongue.gif
it would be awesome if i could though..

Does anyone know how many miles roughly I would have to run per week to obtain some slimmer marathon-like muscular legs?

Thank you.

here are 5 tips from Women’s Health and Fitness magazine
you can lose 5 pounds in 1 week

First: Make sure one of your meals each day is just raw vegetables.

Next: Don’t drink anything carbonated – it can bloat you.

Another tip: Drink a ton of water – then drink some more. It’ll help keep you full and prevent you from retaining water.

Also: Minimize carbs – no potatoes, rice or pasta.

And step #5 if you want to drop 5 pounds in a week: Walk for 20 minutes twice a day.

Between the exercise, the vegetables and the water, you’ll be squeezing into your favorite outfit in no time.

^ linked to that question. if you have quite flabby legs right but a majority of it is muscle.. how do you tone them? would run long distances actaully work?

That's the same problem I have. I've got most of my leg muscles from sprint track and soccer. And I heard you have to run for long, long distance such as ten to twenty miles per week in order to tone it since you can bulk it up afterwards.

But that's for me.

I heard you can walk for an hour on a treadmill or outside everyday would slim it gradually. I know that the long, long distance runs actually slim it down since you can see it in most marathon triatholon athletes. There are also pilates that help to maintain lean muscular legs (which I assume most girls would prefer).

Just wondering...Is it possible to lose 15-20 pounds in 2 months WITHOUT heavy exercise? I'm in Korea right now and I've been eating a lot less than I usually do (oddly enough). I do some moderate walking (around the city) and about 5 minutes of heavy exercise, because my grandma's house is at the very top of the mountains and the trip upwards is very tiring.

Anyway, yeah I just want to know if I can lose that much weight in 2 months. I'm currently about 117lbs, 5'3. I want to get to about 100lbs by the end of july.

i want to lose the 5kg!

But I couldn't turn my back on a world, for what I like wouldn't let me
