my plans for the summer =) --
jog 1 mile every morning at 7-9.
walk 2 miles after the jog.

You do know that jogging and walking a mile burn the same amount of calories, right?

^ try doing crunches where you put your feet on a chair and you lie on the floor, hands behind head, try like 10 first.

x.x special k makes you hungry as a mother(&^^$%^%# .. lol. It tastes pretty good but it makes me feel like im freakin starving and then I end up eating more and gaining weight so I stopped. Seriously it tortures me -.-

yea i know what you mean. with the special K diet, you need a lot of determination

anyway ive started a new diet. hopefully i'll be trim enough for summer and prom in July. my plan is to have a defecit of 1750cals everyday, it doesnt mean that i only eat 250cals though, i eat 1000cals and just work off the 750cals. so it works out good, well i think so.

so i have a small breakfast, small lunch (sometimes skipped), small dinner. 80mins of taebo cardio.

it may not be the healthiest way of doing things, but well as long as i wont be subjected to more, "oh you;ve put on weight" this year when i return to Malaysia and Hong Kong, i dont really care.

my friend had the same problem too, shes not really fat but her cheek is chubby so what she did is that she just exercised .. being skinny doesnt mean you dont have a lot of fat . maybe your body has an extra fat percentage or something . try running or try the special k challenge cerial by kellogs , thats supposed to make you lose 6 pounds every 2 weeks and trust me it works , my cousin did that the whole summer and he went from 202 - 171. all you had to do is eat it for 2 meals .. could be lunch breakfast or w/e but as long as you eat it for 2 meals a day and as for the third mean(you can eat as you regularly do) sounds great right ? im actually gonna do tha tstarting 2morrow XD but yea.. that or exercise should slim down your face. and if that doesnt work eithrer then your face is probably naturally big and you should see a doctor. some ppl are just born with big face but im not sure wat it looks like so all i can suggest are exercise or if your too lazy you can always try that cerial i suggsted (i would prefer the cerial) XD

well the thing is, i cant afford to lose anymore weight.. im alrdy less than 90 lbs and it's not that healthy, esp being 17... but im short so i guess it kind of balances out. it js seems like my face still has some baby fat on it and ppl always mistake me for being younger than i am. so that's why i want it to seem sharper =T

i know that fruits are supposed to be good for you, but is eating half a watermelon (a large one too!) considered to be unhealthy? i'm in such a rut now, I have NO idea what normal portion sizes are anymore!

my "hurdle" seems to be the hour right after school. when I get home. I usually go grab a healthy snack... but that snack evolves into a full-blown feast and I'm left feeling bloated, and the rest of my evening is spent tryong to digest all that food.
any suggestions on what I could do during that time to keep my mind off food???? PLZ PLZ HELP!

wahhh~ Mondo stress this year.. made me gain sooooo much weight!! sleep.gif I'm planning on hitting the gym (with my mom sleep.gif) every day during the summer from 5A-7A ... hopefully this will help, but I have this bad habit, where i just can't say no to food T.T

Anyone have some tactics they use to help them resist food?

I know that by just going to the gym won't cut down my weight.. Anyone have suggestions to add to just going to the gym? Any healthy food diets?

Thanks in advance!!! This summer i am DETERMINED to loose weight!! Overweight-ness is not cool at all sleep.gif

i've gained SO much weight during the last two months of
school. i was really stressed. but now i'm stressed about my weight. UGH. (;
i'm trying to get down to 98 pounds.
i'm currently 5'3 and at 115. i WAS 120 two weeks ago.
i'm excited, because i've been losing it in a really healthy way.

so far i've been doing yoga every other day.
drinking liters and liters of water.
going to the gym with my friend two times a week.
swimming all the time~~! i love swimming<3
stop drinking soda, eating chips, and unhealthy junk food.
running every morning and night for two hours.

i really love food,
and i dont want to turn into those
calorie-scared/obsessive girls who wont eat anything
above a certain amount. i think exercise is the key.
i know i should care about calories...i do,
but some of my friends look at everything and gasp
at the amount of calories that it has. then they freak out
and say, "OMG, i'm going to be HUGE."
i think, it's unhealthy for a girl to have that mindset.

i hope to reach my goal weight in two months.

Yes breakfast is absolutely the most important meal of the day. It gets your metabolism going after you wake up. Think about it. You've been sleeping for anywhere from 5-10 hours which means you weren't eating. Your body needs to be jumpstarted.

I read some study where eating breakfast will actually help you lose weight over the long run.

someone asked about the jogging vs walking a mile. Yes they burn the same amount of calories you just finish faster if you jog it.

if you want to lose fast, should you do cardio first and then add weights? cuz weights tones ur body... but if you have too much fat, is it better to lose the pounds first with cardio?

Which is more efficient? Jogging an hour or jump roping an hour?

wow! that's a lot of work! i want to lose about 10 pounds by the end of the month. school is starting soon, and i want to keep myself busy. i can eat very light lunch at school and i got night classes so that i won't have to eat, and i'd do a lot of walking walking from building to building to get to classes.

i bought a DVD//pilates for weight loss.. i haven't really tried it though.. but how often do i have to do pilates to lose weight? like 1-2 lbs a week?
